👋 Hi everyone! I’m Riya Thopate, a Software Engineer tuning in from Pune, India!

I’m joining TDX24 remotely on Salesforce+, and super excited to be part of the energy even from afar.

💡 This year, I’m especially excited to dive deeper into AI-powered productivity across the Salesforce ecosystem—from Einstein enhancements to automation improvements and anything that helps us build smarter, faster, and with more impact. The innovations around genAI for devs and admins are definitely top of my list!

Looking forward to learning, growing, and connecting with fellow Trailblazers! 🌟🚀

Salesforce Foundations could be a really nice thing for nonprofits. At least small nonrpfotis. I reqeusted it today from my AE. I got disappointing news. No SKU is available for nonprofits and I was denied Foudnations. @Parker Harris: sure hope this is a short term thing. Also, I purchased one license of Einstein Sales add-on through my self-service account, and sadly it has resulted in NO GENERATIVE AI in my account. Trying to figure out how all the whiz-bank can uplift small nonprofits, but honestly the answer so far is IT CANT'!. Sadness...

We are setting up Salesforce Inbox with Einstein Activity Capture for Gmail, and I noticed that the field mappings for syncing Contacts map the Google Company to the Salesforce Account Name. Given that most of our Contacts are associated with Household Accounts, I'm concerned that syncing will override Household names with where people work instead.

Account field mapping aside, I have some hesitation about syncing Contacts Gmail to Salesforce for fear it will create a bunch of duplicates in Salesforce. What experiences / issues have people had using EAC with NPSP, Contact syncing or otherwise? Thanks!

I think that before deploying the sync to your entire organization, conduct thorough testing in a sandbox environment. This allows you to identify and address any issues without affecting your live data. #EinsteinGPT

Hi there,

We have multiple journeys set up, trigger sends, and customers receiving multiple emails on the same day. Consumers are going to unsubscribe and file complaints. It's very impact on business. I was looking for a solution for ensuring that the same person, on the same day, doesn't receive too many emails.

Thanks!

If you set up a Send Log you can also do a very simple exclusion script that looks at today's date and counts the number of times an email appears in the data extension. If it's greater than whatever number you decide is enough for a day, then you exclude that email from any other sends for the day. This will not resolve the hierarchy issue Lukas mentioned.

However, one thought there was to log the email send name. If it's consistent, and you know which ones you want to prioritize, you can exclude those names from the exclusion script. This would stop sends to the same email more than X times a day, unless that email name is "Y". You can have multiple "Y"s in the script, or just don't include the exclusion script in email sends/activities you don't want to omit.
