#New Releases47 discussing

Hi everyone — reaching out to this community as I explore my next role.

I’m a CBAP-certified Business Analyst with 20+ years of experience across federal government, FinTech, and SaaS, and I also hold Salesforce Business Analyst and SAFe Agile certifications. My background includes Salesforce flows and SOQL, data mapping, UAT leadership, and compliance documentation, with growing hands-on experience in AI and automation tooling.

I’m open to Senior BA, Product Analyst, BA/PM Hybrid, and Product Owner roles. If you know of anything open, or are hiring, I’d love to connect — happy to share my background in more detail.

Thanks for reading, and good luck with your own searches too.

When I export a report two VERY BAD and different things are happening now in Winter 24. Not in known issues.

1) ANNOYING: I get prompted to re-log again in a new window. No download until success although it does not wait for the UI login flow to complete.

2) VER BAD: The filters from the report are not respected in the export. They are whatever has been saved in the report last but not as revised by the user in the current report. This is VERY confusing and dangerous. I have a report in my window and export it. The data may not be the same if the user applied any filter. I say again.. VERY BAD!

Note that exporting the CSV gets you what matches the screen. So two ways to export the report that don't even match.

It seems like this might be happening only on the new Step-Up challenge on export of reports. After that challenge is done, other exports within the time allotment behave as they had before where no save is needed to export. This is similar to this bug report:

    https://help.salesforce.com/s/issue?id=a02g70000067tp7AAA&title=first-report-export-after-step-up-auth-ignores-url-filter-overrides-and-uses-saved-report-filters&language=en_US

This is also a bug report not related to the step up:

Sounds like the idea would only be for Knowledge - which would be only covering a very small part of this idea I guess?

    @Bruce Stewart

KI for which part? We do block the availability on the gantt now.

The indication with the holiday details is not a bug but a feature that is coming soon.

anyone else think this change is the worst for admins? sandbox can't change email addresses without forcing login ... which means test new functionality and workflows is going to be impossible! and by the way the actual instructions for even changing at all for users that have not logged in does NOT work.

Account Intelligence View in Sandbox is not available in my Unlimited Edition org. I'm currently working with the Salesforce Summer '24 release. Has anyone else experienced this issue or knows how to resolve it? Any insights or steps to troubleshoot would be greatly appreciated

🚨 Salesforce Admins, let’s rally!🚨

Can we please get the standard search bar back in the release notes? 🙏

Yes, Agentforce is cool for deep dives, but sometimes we just need a quick, no-frills search to find what we’re looking for fast. Having to ask agentforce for everything can slow us down when we just want to do a quick search and go.

If you miss the old search too, give this a 👍 and let Salesforce know we want it back!

With the update to Send Email action is there any chance we will see the ability to compose and email in a screen flow with the lighting email template before the email is sent? We have a process where we need to customize the content in the email that we present through a Screen Flow

Hi all! Re Phishing-Resistant MFA for Privileged Users (including Admins)

I am an Admin and registered passkey (PIN) on my work laptop. On my mobile when i try to log in I got this message:no passkey available-attched. I still can use Auth app  to get in, but thought that should not happen anymore. in the article it states Build in Auth needs to be registered only on one device. I go into a circle on my mobile phone if I want to register a passkey agin.  My work colleague who is a priviliged user can't access salesforce on his another laptop. He registered windows hello on his work laptop. Is this a bug? Or are we doing something wrong?

Hey everyone!

I recently moved to New Orleans from Atlanta—where Salesforce Saturday was a staple for me and I’m eager to get connected with the local Trailblazer community here.

I noticed the group’s Meetup channel is down, so I wanted to pop in and introduce myself! Are any active Salesforce Saturdays or informal local meetups currently happening around town?

If the group is currently on pause, I’d love to help reignite things! I’m more than happy to help coordinate upcoming Salesforce Saturdays or casual coffee/networking meetups for the NOLA area.

If you're still active in the area or interested in getting regular meetups back on the calendar, drop a comment below or send me a message. Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Best,

Isaiah
