What adoption goals have you outlined for your organization? Number of monthly users? Number of opportunities being managed? Our sales operations team has a pulse on our user engagement, but want to set more formal adoption KPIs to track against. How have you done this at your organization?  #User Adoption

Hi All,

 

We are currently deploying a new instance of Salesforce and experiencing friction with our sales teams  adoption. This instance is a new tool set that provides them the ability to do things they weren't able to do before (track opportunities, log calls, activities....etc). Furthermore, we have set up dashboards and reports to surface progress against KPI's and goals. 

 real quick, heres a few factors that i believe could be (most likely are) impacting adoption: - currently, there is no mandate from leadership that X activities must occur in SF per week - they are no reporting mandates from leadership that would drive behavior, such as opportunity reporting  

Has anyone used an NPS type survey to uncover user pain points? if so, is there a good template...etc online?

 

while i realize issues with user adoption aren't out of the ordinary, i'd appreciate any suggestions/resources that can help.

Hello,

 

I want to track Dashboards adoption. When reporting on Dashboards, the running user is the running user set in the parameters and not the actual user who is running the dashboard.

 

I am trying this workaround:

 

In Event Log File https://salesforce-elf.herokuapp.com/ I have downloaded an event log file with type Lightning Page View.

 

I can see who actually visited the dashboard and not only the running user.

 

Now I want to make a dashboard in Tableau CRM, how do I fetch Lightning Page View with all fields I've in the exported excel?

How to drill down into Event Log Files to get Lightning Page View?

I can only connect Event Log File object, but how do I drill down into it? 

 

Not sure I am clear, thanks for your help!

    Thank you @Jason Harlow but I want to track Standard Dashboard Adoption.

     

    You can track dashboard adoption in Event monitoring app but can't track the real dashboard runner only the one set in the parameters. That's why I'm trying to track the page where the dahsboard is.

     

    Event monitoring app store data for a certain amount of time while I want to track on a longer period of time to get a trend.

We already have MFA enabled in our org. It’s a real pain that our users have to authenticate every time they log an email with outlook and I think salesforce should really prioritise this bug fix before they make multifactor authentication compulsory Feb 2022. This is a massive hindrance to user adoption as no one wants to authenticate 50-60 times a day.

Balanced Scorecard???

 

I am digging around looking for a Balanced Scorecard (ex: Cases with Knowledge Article Activities). Does one exist in Salesforce?

 

Here is what I am wanting to see:

  • Team/Group
  • Manager Name
  • User Name
  • KCS Role of User
  • KCS Coach for the User
  • # Cases by this User
  • # Knowledge Articles Viewed
  • # Knowledge Articles Attached (Linked)
  • # Knowledge Articles Created
  • # Knowledge Articles Modified
  • # Citations for KAs the User Created
  • # Citations for KAs the User Modified

 

Having this information will enable my organization to drive adoption and usage of the KB. And as we all know, the greater the use of the KB, the greater the productivity, savings and revenue for Salesforce's Customers. (Seems like a no-brainer)

 

Anyone doing this???
