#Salesforce Platform20 discussing

Hi everyone,

We use SErvicenow for our internal users to log tickets for SF maintenance and enhancement requests. I want to create some custom intake forms to help guide our users based on what they want (e.g. these fields if they are asking for a report, these for a new user, these for automation, etc.). Has anyone done anything similar and have any templates they're willing to share?

Thanks!

Xenia

Email-Sending Domain Verification* is here ⏰

Enforcement begun in Sandboxes April 14th and is coming to Production Orgs on May 4th

How Salesforce Admins Can Override Default System Email Addresses is now live on Salesforce Ben, giving you a clear path to move from user-based email addresses to system email addresses (where possible).

⚠️ Reminder: you’ll still need to configure either a DKIM key or an Authorized Email Domain to ensure successful delivery.

For clarification: If we have already done this, there is nothing more to do - is that correct? I want to make sure I am not missing something.

Important Update: Einstein Conversation Insights Migration to The Salesforce Platform in June or July 2026Important Update: Einstein Conversation Insights Migration to The Salesforce Platform in June or July 2026What’s changing? What’s changing?

Salesforce is migrating Einstein Conversation Insights data — including call transcripts and insights — from the current Activity Platform to the Salesforce Platform in June or July 2026.

Why is Salesforce making this change?

This migration improves:

  • Reliability: The Salesforce Platform provides better data consistency and stability.
  • Efficiency: Reduces infrastructure complexity and cost to serve.
  • Integration: ECI data is natively available to the Salesforce Platform tools and workflows.

What do I need to do before migration?

To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend taking the following steps before your scheduled migration date:

  • Review your ECI configuration: Ensure your ECI settings are up to date.
  • Prepare for Vendor Transcript Processing: As part of the migration, Vendor Transcript Processing is automatically enabled for your org. To ensure uninterrupted call transcription, users must re-authenticate their video meeting providers (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom) after migration. See Vendor Transcript Processing in Salesforce Help.
  • Prepare for changes to reporting: If your org currently uses Analytics for Conversation Insights, note that this feature is retiring in Summer '26. After your migration is complete, recreate your reports using Custom Report Types. See Create a Custom Report Type in the Enhanced Custom Report Type Builder in Salesforce Help.

What happens if I don't take action?

Your org will still be migrated on the scheduled date. However, to ensure continuity of your ECI experience with no disruption to your users, Salesforce highly recommends taking the necessary actions mentioned above.

How can I get more information?

For more information, please refer to Einstein Conversation Insights Data Is Moving to the Salesforce Platform.

If you have any questions or need assistance, refer to Salesforce Help.

Hi! Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to the partner portal.

If there’s any alternative way to access the materials, I’d really appreciate your guidance.

Greetings All -  My Salesforce experience is only as a user.  I love the platform so much, I am incorporating it into my sales consulting practice. I see all the courses available but have no idea where to start. All the different clouds etc... I just selected Salesforce Platform because it sounded like the most practical path (?) I am a mortgage loan officer specializing in working with residential remodeling companies and real estate agents.  I need to become a stone cold expert with every aspect of Salesforce. I must be able to help a client who just bought new seats for their org ... customize  ... answer any question ... solve any "how to"  ... create reports, make Salesforce the backbone of their sales strategy - but I have to make it so it's hyper-user-frirndly to do that I must be expert. Can someone guide me as to what courses to take ? How to best use Trailhead to accomplish my goal?

    Hey @Russell Piazza

     —  Here is a Big answer for your Big Ask.

For someone in your position, I'd suggest starting with the

Admin certification path on Trailhead. It gives you the broadest foundation — understanding objects, automation, reports, and how everything connects. From there, Sales Cloud is the most relevant for a sales consulting practice.

One thing that might actually shortcut a lot of the heavy lifting for your clients — we've been building REDA AI, a Salesforce-native AI agent that runs entirely inside the org. No external systems, no data leaving the instance. The interesting part for someone new to Salesforce is that you can have a working AI agent live in under 10 minutes, without needing deep Salesforce knowledge to set it up. It handles querying records, automating follow-ups, and taking actions natively — similar controls to Agentforce but with a much lower barrier to get started.

Given you're working with real estate agents and remodeling companies, it could be a strong value-add for your clients right out of the box.

We're still in early beta, but happy to share access if you'd like to explore it!
