Hey all,

I'm on the lookout for a good starting entry level position for Salesforce. A position like Junior Administrator or Consultant would be great. If there any positions like that out there I would love to know about them

Hey! We have a customer in Mexico City interested in hiring a consultant for their Salesforce. We need someone with expertise in implementing MKT Cloud and Agents as well. They are not looking for a partner, they are looking to hire someone and keep them in house.

Hi all! I’m looking to move from an admin role into a consultant role and would love some tips, suggestions, etc. on the best path forward. A little on my background… I’ve been an admin for the same company for the last 8 years where I’ve done a lot with declarative configuration — creating custom objects/fields/record types/page layouts and also building out business processes into workflow rules, process builders, and as of a couple years ago only working with flows, etc. I have 4 certs - Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder and Business Analyst. I really enjoy building on the platform and solving problems and feel like a consultant role would be a great next move, but admittedly don’t know where to start. Any suggestions or tips from others who have made a similar move would be very much appreciated!

Tim

You can set your LinkedIn profile to "Open to Work" where only recruiters can see that (so your current employer won't know). Update your resume so it's ready to send at a moment's notice. Indicate in your LinkedIn job preferences that you're open to consulting. Scan the job postings for consulting firms and apply. Don't be put off if it says a posting has 100 applicants -- that only means 100 people looked at the posting, not that they actually applied. Reach out to recruiters and let them know you're open to work and want to be on their rosters. Pretty soon you'll be deluged with offers!
