#Ohana1 discussing

I'll be on the ground for Salesforce World Tour Sydney on February 25th, and I’m looking to connect with fellow Trailblazers!

It's been an amazing year of transformation—moving from legacy systems to unified AI-powered experiences. I’m especially keen to chat with anyone working on Agentforce, Data Cloud, or CX Cloud integrations.

Will you be there? Let’s grab a photo and chat about the future of service! 📸🙌

What a great initiative, Syed! The Agentforce era is truly transforming how financial services organizations like banks approach customer service and AI integration. The World Tour Sydney sessions on Agentforce, Data Cloud, and CX Cloud would have been particularly valuable for the Mutual Banks sector.

For anyone in the Mutual Banks community exploring Agentforce integration with Data Cloud, the key use cases include: unified customer profiles enabling personalized service agent recommendations, automated loan and account servicing workflows, and real-time decisioning with CX Cloud for member experience improvements.

The Trailblazer Community is a great place to continue these conversations year-round - feel free to post any Agentforce or Data Cloud questions here!

I am excited to start the journey to get my Admin Certification. I am only a few hours in and am loving the overall experience so far. I was wondering if anyone had any tips they wish they knew while working through the Admin trails? Also, as this will be a career change from my current job/role any advice on entering a salesforce admin position would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi@Timothy Warren Welcome to the Salesforce Family, your Job as a Salesforce Admin -> Salesforce consultant will defiantly be an exciting Journey. for your path towards becoming a Certified Salesforce Professional, I would advise you to understand the concept in depth try to solve the hands-on challenges as much as you can to get that level of confidence. to prepare for any level of certification requires a clear understanding of the concept and trust me Trailhead modules are designed in exactly the same manner to give you a complete picture. once you understand the concept and solve some hands-on challenges then if any question comes in the exam or in general you will be able to tackle that smoothly.

as far as the learning path I won't give you a lot of Study modules at once but please start exploring the below modules

    1. Admin Beginner- https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/content/learn/trails/force_com_admin_beginner  2. Admin Intermediate- https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/content/learn/trails/force_com_admin_intermediate  3. Admin Advanced- https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/content/learn/trails/force_com_admin_advanced

There is a very nice Trailmix designed for Admin exam  do follow that as well

    https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/users/strailhead/trailmixes/prepare-for-your-salesforce-administrator-credential

and as I said Real-life scenarios will help you get a good grip on the concept so when you are learned few concepts you can start the Suprbadges which test your problem-solving Ability

    Find Admin Superbades here

    https://trailhead.salesforce.com/superbadges

    Regards,

    Happy Learning

The (mostly annual) Dreamforce Golden Gate Bridge walk(s) are on for #DF23

! Here’s what you need to know:

1. We will meet up by the visitors’ center at the south (San Francisco) side of the bridge.

2. It’s typically very breezy on the nearly 2 mile walk across the bridge (each direction.) So a jacket is advised (and a hat if you want to keep the sun out of your eyes or off the top of your head.)It takes 45 to 60 minutes to walk across each direction, depending on your speed and how often you stop for photo opps. The group usually walks only from the south side to the north side, then takes Uber/Lyft back to the city, but ONLY after several group photos with the bridge and city in the background!

3. Here’s the start times of walks I am hosting, plan to meet by the Visitors’ Center 15 minutes prior to the start time:

Walk 1 - Monday, September 11, 9am

Walk 2 - Thursday September 14, 3pm

Walk 3 - Friday, September 15, 8am

4. Comment in this thread which walk(s) you plan to do. This will help others who might want to share a ride to the bridge…and it will help me know about how many people to expect for each walk…we will try to wait for everyone, within a reasonable amount of time.

5. If you’re running late and want to notify me, email me (

Eric.dreshfield@gmail.com) your name & approximate arrival time to the bridge - or you could simply “share you location” from Uber or Lyft to me at (812) 457-6905.

We are working an implementation for an employee experience, when assigning a transition template it requires we assign a manager (when a transition plan template tasks is owned by manager).

The manager is a field on employees that will only pull up other employees. We have HR folks who have traditional user profiles outside of this object who will be managing this list. How do we bypass this or find a workaround? Does the HR manager need an employee account and user? Thank you in advance!

Hello

I have a requirement that let internal users to upload files to opportunity records but our external users (community cloud users) are NOT allowed to upload files.

So any idea/workaround how to hide/remove Add Files button for a profile?

Thanks in advance

There is no solution for this issue yet. I hope Salesforce (SF) will provide a solution soon. In the meantime, I implemented a workaround using a validation rule. If we want to prevent a user from uploading a file into Salesforce, we can use this validation rule. I tried it, and it worked.

We cannot hide but we can prevent it .

Use Content Version object and use this VR in this object  :

    AND($Profile.Name="ProfileName", ISNEW(), NOT(ISBLANK(Title)))

Hello, my name is Keiva Lewis. I am one of the newest members of the Talent Alliance Career Cohorts (TACC) program beginning later this month. I live outside Atlanta, GA with my family, and I am currently in between roles. While I am I am learning so much about what I can offer Salesforce and what Salesforce has to offer. The thing I am most looking forward to as a member of TACC is meeting fellow community members who share the idea of working within the Ecosystem of Salesforce. One interesting thing about myself is I am a competitive kickball player on the weekend.
