#Online Exam Issue With Kryterion2 discussing

My exam was suspended. What should I do to reschedule my exam? 

Please guide me I already raised the case with salesforce but no one replied there on support. Case #01240245 and #01238038 

Hi Team,

I was taking my salesforce data cloud consultant examination on 5th Aug, 2024. After 1 hour of taking the test, I got a warning on the screen with no mention about any specific details. The examiner asked me to show the surrounding (the walls, desk etc )

I followed their instructions and showed them the whole room. I had a couple of necessary items on my desk like the pen stand, water bottle, and Government ID cards for verification purposes, and there was a TV behind me on the wall even does not even operate. They suspended my test without stating any clear reasons by just mentioning that I will get mail from the support team on further steps which I haven't received yet.

I myself reached out to Kryterion support team, and they reverted back with the following message.

Kryterion support : Your exam has been suspended. We are unable to effectively and properly proctor your exam due to your failure to meet certain behavioral or environmental requirements identified by the test sponsor. You have been alerted of behaviors or testing environment infractions that inhibit effective proctoring and you have acknowledged these alerts. The permissible limit of alerts set by the test sponsor has been reached. For this reason, you may not continue your exam. Your responses received up to this point will be reviewed or submitted and your test sponsor will notify you of the final results, if applicable.

It is very sad to see the above response as there was just 1 warning from support guy and that too it was not clear. I have given other certification exams by test partner i.e Kryterion. And I have never faced such an issue before. 

The environment check is usually done before the start of examination along with Identity check All of this ID card checking, room/environment checking didn't happen prior to the start of examination. This ideally shouldn't happen because checking the environment in middle of taking test simply breaks the flow and concentration of one taking the test.

I have already opened a case with the trailhead support team. Case no. #01240245 and #01238038 but no response yet. #Certifications

Getting this certification is really important for my job and career as I am going to embark on a new journey with salesforce. I have put my hard work in preparation. Getting kicked out in the middle of taking test without proper response and that too when I have already answered all the questions is really disheartening.

I sincerely request the team to look into my case and suggest further steps to reschedule my exam at the earliest possible

Formal Complaint Regarding Repeated Examination Issues with Kryterion 

To Whom It May Concern, 

I am writing to formally express my deep concern and ongoing frustration with Kryterion’s exam platform, specifically regarding the Sales Cloud Certification exam on July 8, 2025

. Despite multiple attempts to engage support over the past hour—including repeated chat inquiries—I have yet to be connected with a live agent who can assist in resolving the issue. Most critically, the “Launch” button for the exam remains entirely inaccessible. 

Regrettably, this is not an isolated occurrence. Every experience I’ve had with Kryterion has been marked by technical difficulties, poor service, and unnecessary stress. These challenges have negatively impacted my mental well-being and continue to undermine confidence in the exam process. 

For this particular exam, I rearranged my schedule and blocked off multiple days to prepare and sit for it—time and effort that have now been entirely wasted. These losses are not recoverable.

Compounding the issue, Kryterion appears to have removed access to live agent support. The current chatbot system has proven ineffective and misleading. It initially indicated that I would be connected with a live representative "immediately". However, after a follow-up attempt at the six-minute mark, no response was received—and now more than 39 minutes have passed. 

While I understand that a new exam platform has been introduced, it is unclear why existing scheduled exams were not transitioned accordingly. Kryterion’s track record clearly demonstrates a failure to meet the basic expectations of reliable service and candidate support. Continuing to rely on this provider has needlessly exposed candidates to repeated disruptions, technical breakdowns, and the added burden of filing support cases and resorting to public forums simply to be acknowledged.
