Has anyone tried to bulk update gift commitments : amount or frequency ?

Like how am I supposed to massively update these records ? Because creating a new GCS, modifying the existing GT update the Currenct GCS on the GC and doesn’t seem the correct way to go nor does it properly working

    Greetings, @Ilias Chorafas

    I am curious if you figured out a solution, since this matter was raised in February. Can you share your solution?

    If the problem remains, I’d like to better understand your situation  by having you answer a few clarifying questions:

    1. Are you trying to update existing gift commitments directly on the Gift Commitment object, or are you updating them via the related Gift record?

    2. When you mention “creating a new GCS and modifying the existing GT,” are you referring to using the Gift Commitment Schedule (GCS) related list or a custom automation/process?

    3. Approximately how many records are you trying to update at once, and are you looking for a point-and-click solution (like Data Import Wizard/Data Loader) or are you open to Apex/data manipulation tools?

    Thank you in advance-

    Katende

I am trying to get a community setup and send out the Welcome email.  I want the users to have to log into the community with their email (username) and password however, I am unable to get the out of the box templates to populate.  Also, should I be identifying a corresponding email for all of the community email?

I also tried to use reset password email which I do receive and it provides a link to reset password.  I go to that page and it has me enter my username which then sends me another link to reset password and it just keeps going in a circle.  The url provided does not have the community name in it:

    Hi Patricia, we are using the same merge field such as

    {!Community_Name}

    {!Receiving_User.FirstName}

    {!Community_Url}

    and it works fine. This might have something to do with your Community configuration. Go to Administration and double check your settings/setup

Dear trailblazers,

I'm planning for Non Profit Cloud Consultant exam soon but wondering whether it will still be based on NPSP or new NPC ?

My understanding is, it is still based on NPSP manage package as I'm referring the Trailmix (https://trailhead.salesforce.com/users/strailhead/trailmixes/prepare-for-salesforce-nonprofit-cloud-consultant-credential) but can someone please confirm or share more inputs.

Any response will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

I have a community with a screen flow that looks up a user account.

The lookup loads ok & debugs fine while logged in as a regular SF user.

Issue I have is I can't do it as a guest user. I can search but no results. Seems like I'm missing a permission somewhere. I have a Case object set for lookup to user. the guest user has access to that.

I am currently setting up internal ticketing system and site users can select their name as Requestor.

Anything else I can check?

Lookup (user) field in screen flow

    If it is used by internal salesforce users, then invoking the flow from an internal page or app would be much more secure than a public site/guest user.

    Depending on how your users expect to access this flow, a simple one page "app" with nothing but the screen flow on the page could be launched from the App Launcher when needed.
