Has anyone tried to bulk update gift commitments : amount or frequency ?

Like how am I supposed to massively update these records ? Because creating a new GCS, modifying the existing GT update the Currenct GCS on the GC and doesn’t seem the correct way to go nor does it properly working

    Greetings, @Ilias Chorafas

I am curious if you figured out a solution, since this matter was raised in February. Can you share your solution?

If the problem remains, I’d like to better understand your situation  by having you answer a few clarifying questions:

    1. Are you trying to update existing gift commitments directly on the Gift Commitment object, or are you updating them via the related Gift record?

    2. When you mention “creating a new GCS and modifying the existing GT,” are you referring to using the Gift Commitment Schedule (GCS) related list or a custom automation/process?

    3. Approximately how many records are you trying to update at once, and are you looking for a point-and-click solution (like Data Import Wizard/Data Loader) or are you open to Apex/data manipulation tools?

    Thank you in advance-

    Katende

I'm setting up a new user in my org, which I've done many times. When she tries following the link to login, she's taken to the screen that asks for a code to verify her identity. She hasn't received one. I tried changing her email address to mine and sending a password reset. I don't receive a verification code either. I tried setting her IP address as a Trusted IP Range. She's still not receiving the code. Anyone have any ideas?

@Abhishek R - Thanks for your suggestion to look at the email logs. That helped identify part of the issue, and I'm hoping it's resolved now. Waiting to hear from the user... Thanks again.

Events: Represent specific performances, workshops, movie screenings, or fundraisers with date/time and attendance tracking.

Campaigns: Represent broader marketing, fundraising, or outreach efforts that can include multiple events. Relationship: Events can be linked to Campaigns when applicable (e.g., a Campaign to promote ticket sales for a set of Events).

How can I store this in NPSP Salesforce which objects can i used to store these information.

Events has ticket price also which need to be calculated on contact suppose one patron purchase 100 ticket for different events so all the events cost must be calculated on contact.

    Some starting out thoughts:

    Roughly: Campaigns, Opportunities, and GAU

I would approach the problem from the perspectives of reporting and user requirements. What data do you need to be able to report on, and what data do users need to see? What goals does the organization want to achieve over time, and how will that be measured?

What software manages event registration, and does it/could it connect to SF? Someone will need to manage a fair amount of data entry otherwise.

Your campaign hierarchy could have parent campaigns based on performance season or something similar, allowing marketing campaigns supporting multiple events to live within the same parent structure as those events. Spend some time working out a hierarchy and testing it against what you have now and how it would look a year or two from now.

Campaign member statuses for attended, etc

    Opportunities for ticket sales

    GAU on the Campaign

    Roll-ups on the Contact
