If anyone has an Apsona account and 2 minutes, I'd like to ask anyone to upvote my Apsona idea to be able to document merge a single document with different footers. It is super helpful to be able to print a word doc with different footers  based on donation, membership, and DAF payments for our CEO to sign Thank you letters!

Does anyone have recommendations for a good donor prospecting software/wealth engines that integrate well with our Salesforce NPSP? We'd love to know more about our Contacts (mailing addresses, giving capacity, who they work for, etc...).  Has anyone had any good experiences with vendors in this regard?

Primary Contact (look up field) to auto populate on creation of opportunity!

Hello,

 

I was wondering if there is an easy way to make the npspPrimary contact Field that is a look up field to auto populate on creation of opportunity from Account or Contact object? Or is this a case for creating a flow?

    Ah if you are going from related list then you can't modify the standard "new" button. You could create your own List button, Action, or a screen flow to meet this requirement.

PM AND PMM

Hey there!

I recently got my hands on the NPC and I'm a bit confused about the program management. I noticed it's different from what I'm used to seeing in the program management module. Am I looking in the wrong spot or is there something I'm missing?

I'm used to seeing services, service delivery, program engagement, and other objects in the PMM, but I can't seem to find them in the NPC. Do I need to download the PMM to access these features or are they available in the NPC as well?

    Hey @Sâmia Morse, so basically you don't need to download PMM since the same standards are already built-in in NPC, only terms has been changed, here I will match between what old terms and new terms. 

    • PMM > NPC 
      • Program > Program 
      • Program Engagement > Program Enrollment 
      • Service > Benefit & Benefit Type (They added another object Benefit Type, where Benefit has lookup relationship to Benefit Type) 
      • Service Delivery > Benefit Assignment & Benefit Disbursement (They added another object Benefit Disbursement, where Benefit Disbursement has lookup relationship to Benefit Assignment) 
      • Service Schedule > Benefit Schedule & Benefit Assignment Schedule
      • Service Session > Benefit Session

    So, you can keep the same idea from PMM to NPC, but only change the terms that you use. 

    Hope you find it helpful, let me know if you need further clarification about PMM in NPC.

Hello Everyone! This is Esteban, a guy from Barcelona with 3 years experience into the Salesforce Ecosystem.

Actually we are a nomad family travelling the world already for almost 6 years and 22 countries, and we have been collaborating in many NGO projects along the way, like in California, Honduras, Italy, Georgia...and also we have doing many Economic Collaborative projects with families through the website Workaway, where they made us Ambassadors due to our helping trajectory, helping in around 12 projects in different countries also.

 

We have been helping in all those projects along with the kids; we have 2, Nil & Max, 12 and 7yo. Because we are teaching them in a different alternative way, and we like them to know from the very beginning the helping without expecting in return philosophy among other lessons of life that we have learnt on the way...

 

So I am looking for remote opportunities where I can keep doing this lifestyle just helping, sharing and learning at the same time.

 

If you want a person in your company/Non Profit with values, ethics and integrity, and at the same time we are working, you know that we are trying to put our seed to make of this a better world, here I am ready to talk and help...
