Thanks for posting this Guilda! I wonder if I could present on Dual Layer Input Masks. This is core "core" work and not related to Salesforce only though.

We want to use Zapier to extract some data from our Salesforce org to Google drive.

It seems that the only way is using users credentials (user/passwd) and there is no way to filter by incoming IP...

Does anyone have the same problem?

It's a good idea to let any integration to connect to Salesforce without filtering incoming IPs and no other security credentials than user/passwd?

any ideas are welcomed.

thanks.

I wouldn’t be comfortable using just username/password either. In most cases you should be using OAuth with a dedicated integration user, not personal credentials, and definitely not bypassing IP controls without understanding the risk.

If IP restriction is a hard requirement, Zapier can be limiting since traffic comes from their infrastructure. In similar setups we either used a middleware that supports OAuth + more granular security control, or something like Skyvia where you connect via OAuth and don’t have to expose raw credentials. At minimum, create a dedicated integration user with least-privilege access and monitor API usage closely.

Hi Connections,

Good Day!

I have a scenario where, according to the specific field, the field in the x-axis label has to be coloured.

If the name is having Label as Fail, it should be highlighted in red colour (as shown in pic) and

If the name is having Label as Pass, it should be highlighted in Green colour (as shown in pic)

For ex (in pic):

The name WK3 is having Label as Fail, so it is highlighted in red colour (as shown in pic)

The name WK1 is having Label as Pass, so it is highlighted in green colour (as shown in pic)

Can anyone help to achieve this / suggest any other way to achieve this highlighting visually on the chart?

Thanks in Advance!

I think you'll need to create two separate charts and combine them on a dashboard. You'd build one bar sheet and hide the header for the bottom axis.

I think you'll need to create two separate charts and combine them on a dashboard. You'd build one bar sheet and hide the header for the bottom axis. Then create a chart for the axis.

Then create a chart for the axis. You'd drop the text on the label card then hide all the headers.

    Then combine on a dashboard.

On tableau server, our dashboards are loading slowly. I want to figure out what are all the events that are occurring while loading and how much time does these events take to complete?Hi Connections,

On tableau server, our dashboards are loading slowly. I want to figure out what are all the events that are occurring while loading and how much time does these events take to complete?

So, am trying to calculate the duration on navigation between the dashboards in the same workbook in server. Meanwhile, for the same navigation am recording server performance.

Ex. In workbook A, navigation between worksheets B and C.

1. open the workbook A with worksheet B on server (usual)

2. recording the performance on server

3. setting up manual seconds timer ready

4. clicking on the worksheet C and on timer simultaneously

5. once the worksheet C is completely loaded, pausing the timer on the same time

6. downloading the performance workbook from server

7. adding the values of elapsed time in the timeline worksheet (Gantt chart) in performance workbook

8. comparing the summed up value from performance workbook and timer.

After doing the above steps, on comparison, values from performance workbook isn't matching with timer.

i.e. case1: Timer value - 5.9s and Perf recording value - 4.335s

case2: Timer value - 6.221s and Perf recording value - 7.893s

Can anyone help me on the same. I want to know, why the values are mismatching.

Please drop your suggestions on figuring out the events that is taking time to load the dashboard.

Thanks in Advance!

Akshara.
