Hi Sachin,
Sorry to hear that you didn't pass - but don't worry, the exams are meant to be difficult. If they weren't, they wouldn't hold much value once you pass them :)
I'm going to assume you've completed the preparation Trailmix for this certification.
Other things you can do to prepare are:
1. Go through (paid) training material on sites like FocusOnForce.com or Udemy
2. Join a (free) Salesforce Certification Day
3. Find a mentor near where you live who can guide you through the topics you find challenging
4. Understand the structure of the exam questions: remember that each question usually has 2 "trash" answers, one decoy, and one true answer. If you can filter out the two incorrect ones right off the bat, then even without knowing the answer you stand a 50% chance of getting it right.
5. Read blogs to understand other people's experience with the exam. I can't stress enough just how much reading blogs like Gemma Blezard's or Keir Bowden helped me in my own certification journey.
6. When you took the exam, you should have received results that told you which topics you didn't do as well on. Focus on those, maybe there are recordings you can watch on those topics?
7. Get some practical experience. The exam sometimes tests you on things that you won't see on Trailhead - the "What things does Salesforce NOT do". To understand these, you need some practical experience with the system. Make your own project in a dev org, maybe intern somewhere as an assistant administrator.
If there is any specific help you need in order to do better next time, please feel free to ask us.

I have started studying for SF admin exam and almost finished exam prep trailmix, took me one month. I am planning to continue studying and preparing for exam for another 2 months and then take exam. Prior to these studies and preparations, I didn't have any SF experience.
But this requirement mentioned in "Get Started with Administrator Certification Prep" makes me less confident going to exam. I didn't have any IT experience neither, only 17 years working in planning and supply chain using ERP softwares.
Is it really necessary to have experience working in SF prior to talking exam? Also, how can i find SF job without having certificate....i think it's a loop?! #Salesforce #Admin Exams #Salesforce Admin #Trailhead Challenges #Certifications #Jobs

Nov 19, 2023, 11:21 AM The 6 months is only a guide line, i think Salesforce would rather over-egg the estimate based on the majority of people. If you are doing lots of revision, using all the right materials, it can be done in a lot less. I have coached people to pass it in 1 month, but this will require intense revision.
For the majority of casual revision (1 hour a day) 6 months is accurate, obviously the more intense, you can bring it down to ~2 months. Hope this helps, if you need any assistance with revision and pointing in the right direction for revision materials just message me.
Thanks
Mar 4, 2024, 2:10 PM @Vy Nguyen my tip: go through all questions and answer only those you are 100% sure of the correct answer immediatly.
Then go through the unaswered questions and answer those you are sure after short concideration.
At the end, go with questions you are not sure, hesitating between 2 answers or just shooting.
It's better for managing time and it's better not to think about harder questions before read all the questions - sometimes you will come up with the right answer to one questions after you see a a different one:)
Second tip: a lot of questions you can answer when reading help guide, not just doing trailhead.
planning to take advanced administrator test in this december 2023 month, any coupons/vouchers available?

Hey guys !
I'm planning to start studying for the exam. I'd love to start this path together with someone!
I would like us to support, motivate each other to actively study and go through some complicated topics together.
I'm going to prepare the plan along with dates and topics. We can also work on it together and determine what our goals and deadlines are.
Something about me. 😃
I live in the Netherlands. I have been working with Salesforce for 5 years ( 3 as an end user,2 as a Salesforce analyst and a year ago I started my journey as an Admon). Though I haven't started learning for Admin certification yet! It is a high to to get it !
I highly invite determined and positive people to join the challenge.
Do you want to join me? Let me know.
Let's get this party started ! 🎉

Hi, how long it could take aprox. to prepare for Salesforce Admin Exam if i study 2-3 hrs per day? #Salesforce Admin #Admin Exams
Oct 16, 2023, 5:14 PM It depends a lot on your hands on experience.
I can share what worked for me:
I prepared at least one month, using te following resources:
Finish the official trail:
Take Mike Wheeler classes.
Study and practice the exams on Focus On Force (I feel comfortable when I have at least 95% score on the practice exams)
You can find good content online (on youtube)
Academy classes:
Hi all, I have registered for an online Admin exam for next week. Have installed Sentinel app to my Mac and when trying to launch it, I am getting the following error:
"Invalid App Launch
Sentinel is a test-system integrated app, and must be launched from a KOLPS URL. Sentinel cannot be launched separately."
Have no idea what it means and by Googling it seems that there have been some people with the same error, but no clear solution described anywhere. I did submit a support ticket about it, so just wonder if anyone here had same issue and how were you able to resolve it.
Thanks in advance!
Jul 14, 2021, 8:53 AM Ok, got the answer and I am sharing this for everyone who have encountered the same issue.
The error in question is normal if you launch the Sentinel App (on Mac) program (on Windows) from your computer/laptop. It is run on background when performing some tasks on Webassessor account, such as:
- making biometric profile on Webassessor account or
- launching the exam from the Webassessor account.
It is NOT normal if you receive the error while performing one of the above actions.
