#Administrator3 discussing

Hi all, I just failed my Salesforce Admin Certification for the second time and now I have to wait until the new Spring release quiz after April 23, 2026. I’m wondering if anyone has been in this situation and how did you prepare to succeed on your third attempt…especially with my next attempt coming with a brand new releases of questions. Definitely down and feeling like I will never pass this cert, any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I’m looking to become an administrator and am brand new to Salesforce. I’ve started the ‘Admin Beginner’ trail…but pretty sure there’s much more than that. Hoping someone could tell me what I need to do (trails, etc) and in what order, from beginning to end, so that by the end of it, I know everything I need to know to start a career as an administrator. Thank you in advance to whomever can help outline this for me!

Hey guys !

I'm planning to start studying for the exam. I'd love to start this path together with someone!

I would like us to support, motivate each other to actively study and go through some complicated topics together.

I'm going to prepare the plan along with dates and topics. We can also work on it together and determine what our goals and deadlines are.

Something about me. 😃

I live in the Netherlands. I have been working with Salesforce for 5 years ( 3 as an end user,2 as a Salesforce analyst and a year ago I started my journey as an Admon). Though I haven't started learning for Admin certification yet! It is a high to to get it !

I highly invite determined and positive people to join the challenge.

Do you want to join me? Let me know.

Let's get this party started ! 🎉

    Hi @ABDOULAYE KONATE

Congratulations on earning your Salesforce Certification! To secure a Salesforce Administrator job, update your LinkedIn profile, focus on quality job applications, and leverage resources like job posting sites and Salesforce Trailblazer Community Groups. Prepare for interviews by reviewing job descriptions, researching companies, and practicing common interview questions. During the job search, be persistent and reject offers that don't align with your values, ensuring a good fit with the company's culture and your personal satisfaction. After accepting an offer, continue learning and consider certifications that complement your role and future career in the Salesforce ecosystem. Remember, finding the right job is about more than just skills; it's about aligning with a company's values and enjoying your day-to-day work.

    Please go through these resource:

Help please. I took my salesforce administrator examination last week and did not pass it. I was so devastated. I was so confident that I have practised enough for the exam. I did study with focus on force and completed my administration trial in trialhead. All the questions were familiar to me except for some. I am again retaking it on end of this month. But literally scared to retake. So any advice to prep for the exam or anything to boost my confidence to take the exam would really help me.

Thank you !!

    Hi Michele,

Firstly: sending good vibes for your freelance ventuure/.

I find often when trying to get into the salesforce world we look for the answers else where, the answers are within ourselves.

The ecosystem is very broad and there is space for everyone. With your previous experience, things that are you passionate about you are unique and has individual value noone else can.

    1. build your portfolio, you can even do it with SF tech https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/build-your-personal-portfolio-on-salesforce

    2. build projects around what you do today in salesforce, those are great experience for you to reinforce concepts but also to create a narrative

3 we think in stories, use those narratives to convey why you are the right for the roles

4 find an organisation in your local area that you can support and shadow someone in their salesforce

5 get involved with your local community groups https://trailblazercommunitygroups.com/

6 apply for the mentorship central or find a mentor in your circle of influence to accompany you in this journey https://trailhead.salesforce.com/trailblazerconnect/mentorship

You (each one of us) is the creative force of your own life.

Also no need to dup entries here in the forum, similarly to functionality in core and experiences you can add 1 time then loop multiple topics and groups ref https://trailhead.salesforce.com/trailblazer-community/feed/0D54S00000PeTisSAF

    Best,

    Ines
