#Sales Pipeline0 discussing

I'm a Salesforce architect who spent the last year building a revenue intelligence suite that's 100% native — no external servers, no data sync, just a managed package.

It does deal scoring, forecast AI, conversation intelligence, pipeline inspection, coaching alerts — basically what Clari and Gong do, but inside your Salesforce org.

I'm opening a Founders Program: first 50 orgs get lifetime Enterprise access, free.

Not a trial. Not a beta. Lifetime.

What I need in return: install it on a real org, give honest feedback monthly, and leave an AppExchange review. That's it.

Why free? Because I need real teams with real pipelines to validate the AI scoring and find the bugs I can't find alone. Your feedback is worth more than a subscription fee.

Currently at:

  • 17 AI-powered components
  • 155 tests passing, 82% coverage
  • 5 AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI/Grok, Salesforce Einstein, Custom Endpoint) — no vendor lock-in
  • Completely customizable and admin friendly, plug in your custom objects/fields.  Replace our default flows with your own.  Every org is different. And we kept that in mind!

We are on the verge of something epic!

I'm fortunate to be a part of this emerging community! Avenues like this are where most people want to make meaningful connections, learn, and expand their knowledge without the vanity of the traditional social media atmosphere. It's exciting to witness the development and launch of this new ecosystem.

A little about me. I run a sales podcast, The Sales Evangelist, and a sales training firm out of West Palm Beach, FL, focusing on helping frontline sellers build pipelines. I'm a part of the Salesforce Sales Influencer Classes of 2022 and 2023. Additionally, I was recognized by LinkedIn as a Top Voice In Sales 2022.  Growing up in Jamaica, I was fascinated by entrepreneurship and selling.

This transformed into a career in college and a mild obsession with all things sales since. #2 Prospecting  #Sales Pipeline #Free Podcast

We're looking for a way to handle confidential opportunities in the pipeline. We still want them to roll up on reporting, etc. Does anyone have any ideas? I know we could use alias names and or work through field-level settings. Open to any and all thoughts. Thank you :)

Add a Confidential Flag on Opportunity.

Make Opportunity OWD private and open up access using sharing rules (say if Confidential flag is false then share opp with all). Run the report as a system admin and you should be able to report on everything.

Good Morning,

I am trying to build a report of our current pipeline. The way I am doing it is by utilizing open opportunities. I can pull the address in for the account level, but my management wants to be able to see the address of the parent account/corp account in the grouping. Is there anyway to do this?

    Bryan,

The last option on my photo you see is a custom formula text field, which pulls the Parent Account Name into the Account.

Try creating it and see if it shows up in your report.

Bare in mind it is not clickable, just shows the name.

Should still be usable in grouping by Parent Account :)

Hi everyone,

I am struggling to figure out how to show in a report/graph the gross profit per opportunitty per month to have a correct gross profit pipeline monitoring.

Currently I have 2 options, to show Total gross profit for the opportunity or gross profit per unit, but this is not applying as per schedule date, so it is now showing correct date per month.

Does anywone have ideas on how can I accomplish this?

Thank you!

Can you post a screenshot of the Report, Settings, and Filters that you're using, the results you're getting, and a mock-up of what you want?  For questions related to Reports and Dashboards those are really helpful

Hi guys - i'm relatively new to salesforce and i'm trying to build a dashboard that shows how long n opportunity has been open for ie how long before it is closed_won or closed lost. The CEO wants to know how quickly the sales guys are closing deals - We are on the enterprise version if that would help.

I appreciate all your help in advance

I need a little help from my telecom & IT fellows, regarding pipeline management:

If a customer gives up in an opportunity deciding to build a solution in house rather than contracting externally, how would you recommend closing this deal, canceled or lost opportunity?

I suggest updating to Closed Lost and adding a dependent picklist for Closed Lost Reasons so you can capture and report on your closed lost reason.

Regarding pipeline management - in which situations you consider an opportunity must be closed as "Lost" and in which should be acceptable that sales team "cancel" it? I mean for example if a customer gives up on a project, and no bid will occur, it is acceptable to cancel, do you agree?

Personally I would say an opportunity should never be "cancelled".

    Let me elaborate further.

Let's just say that stage 1 in your opportunity pipeline is "Identifying/Qualifying" this is where you are (as the name suggests) exploring the opportunity, and qualifying if a genuine opportunity exists. At this stage and only at this stage a sales rep can, in your words, "cancel" the opportunity, and change the Opportunity Stage, but I would call it something like "Dead/No Opportunity" this stage means that this account doesn't have an opportunity AND NEVER WILL. If the prospect won't be buying now, but may do in the future, then that is not when "Dead/No Opportunity" should be used, because you will want to capture why the prospect is not buying now.

Assuming the sales rep does not change the stage to "Dead/No Opportunity" then the opportunity's stage should be set to your "real" stage 1, something like "1. Discovery". Once an opportunity moves to "1. Discovery" it can never be "Cancelled" or set to "Dead/No Opportunity" only "Closed/Lost" if needed, why? Because if your sales rep has identified that the account is valid, the prospect is the kind of company that you work with, and there is a potential opportunity there, then if the opportunity dies, there is ALWAYS a reason why, and you would want to capture that reason.

If you find that there is a frequent need to "cancel" opportunities, then I would focus on establishing when an opportunity should be created in the first place.

Hi Everyone. My name is Dmitri Leichik, I'm CEO of Twistellar (www.twistellar.com), and new to the community.

We've recently developed DASH - a new interface to interact with Salesforce.

Here's the video demonstrating DASH: https://youtu.be/NWDdrcaELBE

DASH is built natively on Salesforce, and allows to represent standard and custom objects data in interactive dynamic charts.

  • It's much faster than Lightning, saves time for updating Salesforce
  • Graphical info is more comprehensible in comparison to tables.

Would be great to hear your feedback, especially from Salesforce end-users. Do you think that's something that you'd like to try on your org?

Thank you, have a nice day.
