When a case is created, CreateRecordEvent FeedItem is created which has visibility to AllUsers. Is it possible to change this to InternalUsers or is there any way to update Feed Filters in the Feed component of the community page?

We have custom feed filters for our Salesforce users to display Emails and Posts. When a community user comments on Case created (CreateRecordEvent ) feed, the comment is getting missed out very often.

Thanks in advance!

Our Employees/Staff  login via our "my.salesforce.com" domain direct (with no SSO).  Once Authenticated in Salesforce when they try to access a Community page they are  prompted to login again.

They are members of the Community and I have enabled the setting "Allow employees to log in directly to an Experience Cloud site"  Is there another setting to allow Staff/Employees to access the Community without a second login?

The post below is the same Use case, but this Org was using SSO.  I am hoping that without SSO this is possible

How are the employees arriving at the community? Are they using the app launcher app from LEX in the internal org?

We are migrating from Zendesk to Service Cloud.  In Zendesk when an End User/Customer raises a ticket thru the portal they are able to "cc" users from their Organization/Account.   When raising a Case with Salesforce there is an option for "Case Collaborators" however I am not seeing this functionality in my own Org.    Case Collaborators - Standard functionality or Custom solutions?

I found posts in the SF Stack which suggest this is not standard functionality and Users have build their own custom solutions.

If this is not standard functionality does anyone have a custom solution worth sharing?

    Hi @Jeff Callahan

Interesting thoughts and solution-ing! Did you ever get this working and if so, can you please share how you were able to add the case collaborator for external users?

    Thanks!

Hi Experts,

#Community Cloud  #Community Portal  #Lightning Out  #VF Pages  #Lightning Community  #Salesforce's Site.com  #Sales Cloud

Our org has a salesforce site which uses a Lightning Out VF Page which is working as expected. Now I am generating the URL of this site with some parameters for vf page from a Community Page aura component and redirecting to the created URL using the simple window.open.

The page is not getting loaded despite the proper URL is being created and I am getting an error in the console 'Uncaught ReferenceError: $Lightning is not defined" at the line "$Lightning.use("c:MyLightningOutAPP", function(...."

If I refresh the page after getting the error, the page loads correctly.

Please help to resolve the issue.

Hello,

I have a custom component and screen flow that community login users will upload a file to the Salesforce record.  Everything is mapped and was working a couple of months ago, but it is no longer working.  I've searched the interwebs, everything looks configured how it should be but no luck.  Any ideas what could be causing this?  The record is updating as expected, except for the file.  Attached are two videos, 1. navigating the flow as a community login user and 2.  a walk-through of the screen flow.  Screenshot of flow debug log showing the correct ID to relate the file to is also attached.

    Hello,

I've reviewed your videos and screenshots.

I can see the flow is creating the file, if you go to the ID from the Debug log do you see the file?

If you do then the Flow needs a additional step to create a Content Document Link to show this on the File related list.

This would use the Custom Object Record ID and the File ID ot make the relationship.

It seems like you may be using a custom upload file component which is the possible cause.

However with this additional step you should be good to go!

    Thanks, Tom

Is there a setting to set the Visibility on Files to All Users when a  Knowledge Articles is Published by default?I could build a flow to accomplish this, but wanted to know if there was a better way.

    Hi @Jeff Callahan,

Making all articles available to all users may impact future requirements. What I have done in the past is to make all Data categories available on the Community Portal available to all users. Take a look at Data Category Visibility and see if that approach may do the trick.

We have users belonging to 2 types of cummunity licenses.

1). Customer Community Plus

2). Customer Community Login (High Volumn Portal Users).

Each user with profile(1) is associated with an individual account with record type "Business Account" and users with profile(2) is associated with an individual account with record type "Client Account".

We have created account sharing rule as follows:

Criteria: Account: Account Record Type EQUALS Client Account

Shared With: All Customer Portal Users

Account and Contract: Read/Write

Opportunity: Private

Case: Read/Write

If you see the above, users with profile(1), shoud have RW access to cases belonging to users with profile(2). But, it doesn't work.

We are able to see AccountShare record created for the client account, but there is NO case share record, if the case is created in the community by the user with profile (2). if i create a case under the contact (belonging to user with profile (2)) through the salesforce org, i could see the case share record getting created.

Thanks,

Is there a Group which only contains Customer Community Login (high-volume portal users)?

I would like to use this to share Specific List views that I have created for the Community. Currently I have the Sharing Settings on these Views set to "All users..." which means the Internal users can see them.   There is nothing sensitive it just clogs up the views.
