    As a reminder, there is a strict standard you have to meet to be considered for membership because this is a working council. You have to be inherently motivated to give back to the community and display proof of that trait by helping the community for at least one year. You can't just be good at your job.

     

    (Emphasizing this not only because it's been personally important to me, but also to explain why we love self-nominations. Only you know all the ways you've given back.)
