I created a Data Transform and Mapped to DLO, When I run Data Transform, It's taking too much time to active, that time Data Transform Status as "Processing", after a long time it's showing the Data Transform Status as "Error". I did not got any email and log also to check the issue. Can anyone help me to resolve the issue, the only i can move further. @Suhirdass S

This usually happens when the data transform is configured either to process too much data, or if there is some issue with any of the data streams/DLOs/DMOs used. You can check the following:

    1. All the participating DLOs, DMOs etc are active and working (not in error state)

    2. Check if there are any unsupported functions, incorrect field references, or source DLO/DMO fields that may have been renamed or deleted.

Also, is it possible to share the screenshot of the Data Transform itself (its components) to check if there are any joins or transformations making it complex.

I have enabled Datacloud in my Dev org. But am not able to see Datastreams, DLO...... options in the Data Cloud main screen.  Profile: System Adminstrator  Permission Set: Data Cloud Architect    @* Data Cloud for Marketing (fka CDP) *

@GokulReddy Chiyyedu I’ve seen this behaviour in different orgs I configured. I fixed it by updating the permission set with visibility to the objects or app in question.

🚀 New SalesforceBen Article: Headless Data 360 — First Look at the New MCP Capabilities

Since Salesforce released Headless Data 360 earlier this week, there’s been a lot of discussion around MCP and what this means for the future of agentic and headless architectures.

I had the opportunity to get early hands-on access before release and wanted to share:

 • What stood out to me architecturally

 • Why this matters beyond the announcement itself

 • Where I think organizations should be cautious and intentional

Have you already started evaluating it?  What questions, hopes or worries do you have?

In this POV ((https://partners.salesforce.com/0694V00000V0XAd) there is a general guidance slide for Dev and Production setup in which one Marketing Cloud Engagement instance is connected to both Dev/Sandbox and Production data cloud. We have create a Data Cloud sandbox and are planning to connect it to the Marketing Cloud Engagement (Test BU) for testing prior to connecting to Data Cloud prod instance.

Does anyone has experience connecting both Dev/Sandbox and Production Data CLoud instance to a single Marketing cloud instance. Can someone confirm if this is still valid and doable?

Can we connect multiple Data Cloud orgs with single Marketing Cloud Engagement instance?

    @chanikya alladi

My understadning is not clear from the above supported link.

Please can you help in understanding

Is it possible to connect data cloud to SFMC child BU or to only Parent BU?

If yes to child then can we connect multiple data cloud org to single SFMC BU ?

In my understanding from the document link you shared Enterprise Id can be only one i.e. marketing cloud can have only one parent followed by child BUs.

Hence doc seems not clear to me.

    Please can you assist.

Hi, I got the same issue! As many others: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/trailblazer-community/feed/0D54V00007erw0TSAQ

This was the answer from Salesforce Support:

We have seen similar pattern where customers are facing issue while enabling data cloud. As per the previous cases in our database, this issue is fixed by using below workaround.

     1. Can you please try to enable the data cloud again? If still getting the same error I would advise you to perform the same 3-4 times. Because we have seen this error got fix if we tried multiple times.

    2. If stills error persist, then you need to refresh the affected sandbox and then match the production licenses.

Hi Everyone,    Is it supported to connect more than one Salesforce Data Cloud instance to the same Marketing Cloud Enterprise account?

Specifically:

  • Is the Marketing Cloud ↔ Data Cloud integration limited to a single Data Cloud per Marketing Cloud Enterprise?
  • Can this connection be scoped or configured per Business Unit, or is it strictly Enterprise-level?
  • If multiple Data Cloud instances are not supported, what is the recommended Salesforce architecture when data must remain isolated across different Data Clouds?

Any official documentation or architectural guidance would be appreciated.    Thanks!

    @Izabel Moreira

    ,

    • The Marketing Cloud ↔ Data Cloud integration is typically limited to one Data Cloud per Marketing Cloud Enterprise account, scoped at the enterprise leve means that you can only connect 1 MC account to multiple Data Cloud org. So 1 SFMC account could be connected to multiple Data 360 orgs

    • No , the integration is Enterprise-level, not BU-level. The Data Cloud connection is configured once at the parent account. All Business Units inherit access to the activated data.

    • You could try segregating the data iof the BUs using data space

    Hope that helps

🎓 Live & On-Demand Community Webinar: Data 360's History, Current Capabilities, and the Future

Salesforce Architect Group, Atlanta, USA is hosting a webinar on Thursday, Feb 5, at 8:30 - 9:30 am PST, where I will share:

  • Salesforce's journey to Data 360 actually came from (well before the name)
  • The problems it is designed to solve and what we can learn from the past
  • How architects and admins can evaluate when Data 360 is the right choice — and when it isn’t

👉 Join live if you can, or check out the recording afterward

 — both are great ways to engage, ask questions, and compare notes with peers.

    The recording

for the webinar is now live.

We looked back at Salesforce’s evolution — CRM → Customer 360 → Genie → Data Cloud → Data 360 — and more importantly, what that journey teaches us about preparing data for AI, analytics, automation, and activation use cases today.

    We discussed:

    • What has changed — and what has remained consistent

    • What Data 360 enables architecturally (beyond branding)

    • How to position it to drive faster business value

    • Common data issues that get in the way — and practical ways to detect and mitigate them

📚 Two Practitioner Deep Dives Worth Reading: RAG + Agentforce with Data Cloud

One of the things that makes the Datablazers community special is how often practitioners share real, usable guidance—not just opinions or announcements.

That’s why I wanted to highlight two recent SalesforceBen articles by Atlas Can, both of which do a great job breaking down how to actually build and ground agentic solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce.

📄 How to Build RAG-Powered Agents With Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce

  • How to bring external and web-based content into Data Cloud in a structured way
  • Applying retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to reduce hallucinations
  • Designing agents that reason over curated, contextual data, not raw inputs

📄 Connecting Agentforce to Data Cloud for Grounding with RAG

  • How Agentforce actually connects to Data Cloud for grounding
  • Architectural considerations for trust, context, and governance
  • Where RAG fits relative to prompts, flows, and other agent patterns

What I appreciate about both articles is that they’re step-by-step, experience-based, and written by someone who has clearly spent time building—not just theorizing.

👉 I’d encourage everyone in the community to read both.  And if you don’t already know @Atlas Can, I’d strongly recommend connecting with him — a great practitioner, a thoughtful architect, and someone who genuinely gives back.

Curious to hear from the group:

  • Where are you experimenting with RAG today?
  • What’s been harder than expected?

We learn fastest when we share what’s working — and what isn’t.
