#Nonprofit Cloud Case Management0 discussing

I am using Lightning Edition in the Nonprofit Cloud (Case Management).  Based on the documentation, the Document Checklist should be available, but it isn't - either in the permission sets or in setup.

I very much need the document checklist in order to assure certain documents are uploaded as a part of intake.

Any help or thoughts would be very much appreciated

    Greetings, @Kevin Boteler

I see this old question, is this still an issue for you? If not, did you figure out the root cause.

If the problem persists please answer the following a few clarifying questions might help us get closer to the root cause:

    1. Are you using the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) version 3.x or 4.x? The availability of Document Checklist can differ depending on the NPSP version.

    2. When you checked Setup and Permission Sets, did you also look under Objects and Tabs to confirm the Document Checklist object/tab is enabled for your profile?

    3. Are you trying to access the Document Checklist directly on a Case record, or are you looking for it as a separate app/tab in Lightning?

This is a question from the August 16 Nonprofit Ask Me Anything sessions - I am relaying the question asked live in the session + the resources the hosts shared as a follow-up.

Mine is mainly about using Case Management for organisations - we have a service where we match people with Down's Syndrome with potential employers and so would potentially treat each as a case (potential employee case, potential employer case) and then link them for a role. any thoughts on using case management vs bespoke config?

Some notes shared from the hosts and attendees:

Good call on doing an mvp test to see if it works and build a demo of it.

Hi,

Is it possible to show other items in the related list in the lightning component for the Program Engagement Snapshot? For example, we currently don't use: Client Notes and Service Deliveries, but I have a custom object that it would be nice to display in the component.

Kind regards,

Simona

To display custom objects in the Program Engagement Snapshot component, you can’t directly modify it to show other related lists. However, here are viable solutions:

    1. Build a Custom Lightning Component (LWC/Aura)
    2. Use Lightning App Builder to Add Related Lists
    3. Create Custom Tabs or Sections

Case Management version 1.12 will begin pushing to sandbox orgs tonight. Please look for this version in your org over the next couple of days. The update will be begin pushing to production orgs on July 28. Please check your sandbox orgs and report any issues.

Changes

  • If a user lacks permission to a related object, the Program Engagement Snapshot displays without that object’s related list. Previously, the Program Engagement Snapshot was prevented from loading under these circumstances.
  • We corrected help text on the Client ID custom setting. Existing customers should update the first line of the help text to: % - random number, and the last line of the help text to: Example: CL-@@@@%%%% may return CL-RXFD3578. For more information, see Manage Custom Settings Data in Salesforce Help.

@David Reed Can case management objects be viewed and edited by partner AND customer digital experience users? Specifically Programs, Services, Service Deliveries, Assessments, and Client Notes?

For partner, it looks like only summary detail can be provide to some of these objects through the Program Engagement Snapshot.

about non profit and all what is involved in helping...

Actually we are a nomad family travelling the world already for almost 6 years and 22 countries, and we have been collaborating in many NGO projects along the way, like in California, Honduras, Italy, Georgia...and also we have doing many Economic Collaborative projects with families through the website Workaway, where they made us Ambassadors due to our helping trajectory, helping in around 12 projects in different countries also.

We have been helping in all those projects along with the kids; we have 2, Nil & Max, 12 and 7yo. Because we are teaching them in a different alternative way, and we like them to know from the very beginning the helping without expecting in return philosophy among other lessons of life that we have learnt on the way...

So I am looking for remote opportunities where I can keep doing this lifestyle just helping, sharing and learning at the same time.

If you want a person in your company/Non Profit with values, ethics and integrity, and at the same time we are working, you know that we are trying to put our seed to make of this a better world, here I am ready to talk and help...

For the lightning component Home Quick Actions on the CMM homepage. Can we modify and add to it? We'd like to go to the Create Intake detail page. Currently we have to start from a case.

I am curious if/how anyone is tracking when multiple people work with a client.  In our org we often have 2-3 people working with a client on an ongoing basis and tracking caseloads by just the owner of the contact record doesn't really work in a team situation, so I was just wondering how others were handling this.  I have a few thoughts, like just adding lookups to the contact record or creating a related "Coach" object that lists the people working with the clients, but wanted to see if there is a better/ more standard way. #Nonprofit #Nonprofit Cloud Case Management #Program Management Module

@William Coyle honestly this really can have very different answers depending on specific needs. Feel free to PM me if you think this is a situation you might be seeking some collaboration or more specific/detailed support for the benefit of your nonprofit client.

Dakota, yes, the license can be used standalone. However, with all due respect to your AE, the other information is not correct in my experience. Users with this license can definitely run reports and access data in up to 10 custom objects.

@Jon Mervis - part of the "restriction" of the Service Cloud RUL is that it's only to be used in conjunction with NCCM. In other words, while it gives access to some Service Cloud features, I believe it'd be a violation of the RUL if it was just used as a cheaper way to give users access to Service Cloud features. There are/were partner Q&A docs around this RUL which I'm guessing you should have access to.
