Available for freelance and project work — Salesforce Solution Architect, 5x certified, Double Star Ranger

One of the biggest pain points I hear from Salesforce orgs isn't what they want to build — it's that nobody fully understands what they already have. Undocumented automations, mystery Apex, flows nobody wants to touch, integrations with no runbook. If that sounds familiar, this might be for you.

I offer:

  • Org assessments with full documentation of your processes, automation, and architecture
  • Process Builder & Workflow migration to modern Flow — or Apex where Flow hits its limits. If your org is still running on deprecated automation, that's a ticking clock
  • Builds, integrations, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, MuleSoft, Apex and LWC development

15 years on the platform, PwC consulting background, currently the sole architect for a 200-user org with ERP integration and Data Cloud pipelines.

Drop a comment or message me if you want a second set of eyes on your org.

    Using libraries like ApexMocks is now super verbose because of the lack of generics.

    With generics, this:

    private static final MyService myService = (MyService) apexMocks.mock(MyService.class);

    could be written as this:

    private static final MyService myService = apexMocks.mock(MyService.class);

    And mock verification would change from:

    ((MyService) apexMocks.verify(myService)).doSomething();

    to

    apexMocks.verify(myService).doSomething();

I would like to request a feature enhancement in Apex to support optional parameters with default values in functions. Currently, when we need to add or modify parameters in a function, we must update every call to that function across our codebase, which can be time-consuming and prone to errors.

By allowing optional parameters with default values, Apex would become more flexible and maintainable, reducing the need for extensive code refactoring. This feature is already available in many modern programming languages and would greatly improve developer productivity within the Salesforce ecosystem.

    @Teja Banka, Could you show us the trigger as well, and what  is done in WT_FinancialAccountTrigger / WT_FinancialAccountAfterHandler.afterUpdate: line 38 / WT_FinancialAccountAfterHandler.rollupOnAccount: (line 223) ? Could you please explain a bit the trigger / handler context ?
