Hi everyone

What’s the most cost-effective way to integrate QuickBooks with Salesforce for a nonprofit? Thanks

I have a handful of accounts and contacts that are high level accounts, and want to limit users who are able to view these accounts. Does anyone have advice on how to do this?

Good Day Beautiful People of the Community,

There is likely a simple answer to this, but even if the planets align I still cannot seem to figure it out. The scenario: When user 1 adds an account team member the Account, Contact, and Case Access fields are visible (screenshot 1). However, when user 2 tries to add a team member on the same exact account, they only see the "User" and "Team Role" fields (screenshot 2).

Do you know where in Setup this is controlled? I did confirm the account team member page layout is universal for all users, and FLS is identical for all users.

Any help is greatly appreciated! @* Salesforce Administrators *

    Hi @Rahul Fatnani  I did find the answer to this issue, although I wasn't happy with it but it does indeed make sense.

    According to Salesforce support: "To add, edit, or remove account team members , below permissions need to be present: Read on users AND Edit on accounts AND Account owner or above the owner in the role hierarchy (this third point is key).

    This acts as the record sharing access and users who are not the account owner OR not  above the role hierarchy cannot add team members or can not see the access columns. This is because in the role hierarchy, users who are below the account owner cannot see those accounts as it will grant a higher level of access which would not be a good practice.

     Hence user is not able to see the column for some records where he is not the owner of account or who is below in the role hierarchy."

    Lastly, I found out on my own that if you give the "Log In As" permission to the user, that user will be able to see all four of the access columns. That is because the Log In As permission gives the user View All Data access. That type of access supersedes role hierarchy record sharing, thus the user has access above all account owners and can therefore see those columns.

    Fyi. This is the real answer.

Changing Account ownership isn't just a simple switch — it can ripple through related objects like opportunities, cases, attachments, and contacts. You might bump into permission hiccups or issues with related records. Moreover, identifying these issues' root cause may be challenging...😨

Hi all

What is best practice for identifying, grading and flagging ICP accounts in Pardot? The grading system is great for prospects, but how do I do something similar with accounts? Our ICP scoring system is pretty comprehensive and I'd like to be able to automatically identify and flag any new ICP account that appears on our radar. Of course, ICP status is always validated by a human at some point, but I need an initial guesstimate based on explicit and well defined company attributes. An example of why we would want this is when anonymous prospects from known companies are browsing our website (i.e. the company can be identified from the IP address). I want the ability to create an automation rule that notifies someone in marketing that XYZ company, who happens to be a Tier 1 ICP, is sniffing around us. This is a key component of our Account Based Marketing strategy so if anyone has ever built a scoring system at the account level I'd be keen to hear about it. Thanks in anticipation.

    2. レコードを更新
      • 方法:レコードを識別する条件を指定し、項目を個別に設定
      • オブジェクト:更新したいオブジェクト
      • 条件:
        1. 取引先責任者へのリレーション項目 次の文字列と一致する {!$Record.Id}
      • 項目:
        1. 取引先へのリレーション項目 次の文字列と一致する {!$Record.AccountId}

I received a file of messy data. I've created a flow in Prep to clean it up and output it to a .hyper . I connected to it in Tableau Desktop and have composed a dashboard of reports. What is the best method of updating this data quarterly?

I receive a new (messy) file quarterly - it contains the same same set of account numbers as before + any new accounts. The data that accompanies these account numbers are things like addresses and total asset value (asset value updates each quarter). I'd like to be able to show 1) Current #accounts & Current Total Assets, and 2) show a historical view of how # of accounts and Total Assets$ change over time.

    I really need help with the concept. What is the best method of regularly updating existing rows so I can see trends, and also adding on new rows of data?

I am currently developing something within the Accounts tab for the non-profit that I work for. Because of the ease of use within accounts we created a new record type and added linked objects to it.

The problem is that I found that when we create an account with the custom record type, we created the "All Accounts" list view does not find this particular record created with the record type we customized for ourselves.

Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong that it is preventing me from searching in the "All Accounts" list view to find the record I just created?

Below is a picture example of what I am referencing.

I am having issues with seeing all accounts in my

    The list view search only searches first 2000 records.

    All Accounts list view is not a good place to search across all accounts. You should use global search, or create list views that would return <2000 records

    @Abhishek Pande Copy paste this below code and try to update contact.

    Try to choose those contact whose Account have more than one Contact. Before Activating trigger keep Mailing Address blank

    trigger updateContactAddress contact (after update){

            if(trigger.isAfter && trigger.isUpdate){

               set<Id> accountIdSet = new set<Id>();

                for(Contact con : trigger.new){

                    if(con.MailingCity != trigger.oldMap.get(con.Id).MailingCity ||

                       con.MailingCountry != trigger.oldMap.get(con.Id).MailingCountry ||

                       con.MailingState != trigger.oldMap.get(con.Id).MailingState ||

                       con.MailingStreet != trigger.oldMap.get(con.Id).MailingStreet ||

                       con.MailingPostalCode != trigger.oldMap.get(con.Id).MailingPostalCode)

                    {

                        accountIdSet.add(con.AccountId);

                    }

                }

                System.debug('Account List= ' +accountIdSet);

                list<Contact> conListToUpdate = new list<Contact>();

                for(contact conNew  : trigger.new){

                    for(contact conOld : [Select Id, lastName, AccountId, MailingAddress, MailingCity,

                                          MailingCountry, MailingState, MailingStreet, MailingPostalCode

                                          from Contact where AccountId in:accountIdSet])

                    {

                        if(conOld.Id != conNew.Id )

                        {

                            conOld.MailingCity = trigger.newMap.get(conNew.Id).MailingCity;

                            conOld.MailingCountry = trigger.newMap.get(conNew.Id).MailingCountry;

                            conOld.MailingState = trigger.newMap.get(conNew.Id).MailingState;

                            conOld.MailingStreet = trigger.newMap.get(conNew.Id).MailingStreet;

                            conListToUpdate.add(conOld);

                }

                update conListToUpdate;

                System.debug('Updated Contact List = ' +conListToUpdate);

    }

    No, the standard Parent Account field can only hold a single AccountId, you can't concatenate Id's in a Lookup field like that.

    For what you've described (an Many-to-Many object relationship) you would need to create a custom Junction Object
