Thanks for your support.
Has anyone noticed that dependent picklists in multi-line layouts do not work in Lightning? We have a pair of custom picklist fields on the Opportunity Product object, with one dependent on the other. Although this works fine in the multi-line layout when adding Products to an Opportunity in Classic, both fields are read-only and locked in Lightning. It's not possible to select a value in the controlling picklist, which is a mandatory field. This is a complete showstopper for us to move to Lightning. Please vote on the following idea so we can get Salesforce to address this astounding functionality gap as soon as possible: https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=0873A000000cNptQAE
Oct 14, 2017, 7:32 PM This could be a listview limitation @Jeff Davis can you confirm?
We are working on improving dependent field editing in Lightning Experience and that will be leveragable on listviews. Not sure if multi-line experience will need to enable as well separately.
We all would agree that Splash Screen on Lightning which currently plays the animation for the current release is a mandate time killer for anyone on the implementation side of Salesforce.
It would be good to have a "Disable Lightning Splash Screen" on the User's "Settings" Page.
Let's vote for this idea.
Sep 18, 2017, 4:28 PM @Doug Ayers Thanks for making the background of the picture clearer. The idea was to communicate it to Salesforce that an improvement in the performance of Lightning Pages is invited by all.
On a lighter note, it will help justify the label "Lightning Experience" !
One of the nice new features in Winter'18 is the ability to wrap/clip text in a list view (and to resize columns, although this is already there in Summer'17). For some reason this resize and wrap/clip functionality is not also available on the Reports or Dashboards tabs in Lightning, which is quite annoying as some of our report & dashboard names are quite long, and get truncated for users who are working on older, square-shaped monitors. They have to hover the mouse over the report/dashboard name to see the full title in a pop-up.
@Michael Orr I know it's a small thing, but can you please add this to your roadmap for the next release? I've logged an idea for this: https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=0873A0000003UjvQAE

Another great idea that needs some love people. I have been a great supporter of Trailhead since it was a Beta and I can definitely see a great need for bookmarking/favoriting modules now that I am in the current Challenge. This would make it easier for those studying for certs to easily navigate to their bookmarked trails or those in challenges (eh hem) quickly pick up where they left off when they had to go to sleep.

If you use custom fiscal periods, feel free to #VOTE UP this Idea. Thanks!
Dec 16, 2016, 6:04 AM @Wendy Greene - we had a similar need for custom fiscal calenders, agree this would be a great add
Vote for my idea! https://success.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=0873A0000003On3QAE
Thanks for all who voted so far! I created this idea about 7 months ago and I'm still in serious need of this feature.
It would be helpful if there was a QUICK SAVE button on the process builder at the ACTION level. I have a rather large process builder and when I create or edit an ACTION it takes it forever to save. I don't need it to save the entire process builder after each task. I could be more efficient when building out my process with a QUICK SAVE.

I've run into a bit of a snag. I'm trying to create "Line Items for Opportunity Line Items", but you can't create a Child Object for Opportunity Line Items (OLIs). Are there any workarounds for this? Is there any way to "hack" into the system through the API and create a Master-Detail field that looks up from a Custom Object to OLIs? Does there exist an AppExchange app that can give most of the functionality a Master-Detail field does?
If not, then please vote up my idea entitled "Allow Opportunity Line Items to have Child Objects". And even if there is a viable workaround, vote it up anyways. : ) I've explained my use case in the idea itself.
Thanks!

Oct 16, 2016, 3:57 PM sounds you are trying to implement a complex CPQ process, so I'd suggest looking at a paid CPQ product. There a few out there (I worked for one vendor) and I'm sure that if you'll ask your account manager he would recommend a few.
Please vote up my idea to enable people to see the date they completed their Trailhead badges.
I have today again been asked to provide details of any training I've done in the past 12 months and I'm having to guess (you'd think I'd have learnt to keep track by now...)
It seems common sense to me that people would want access to this information, and Trailhead team have said they do collect it in the background.
VOTE IT UP
Oct 7, 2016, 6:39 AM I got an update today from a PM. The new Trailhead profile feature (rolling out in a few weeks) will expose the badge earn date. #Safeharbor
