Our UX team created this pretty layout leveraging what they thought would be standard components via the lightning design system's vertical tabs - it's even in the salesforce figma templates.  Unfortunately the lightning app builder doesn't appear to support this vertical variant of the standard tabs component.

Are there any roadmap plans to support vertical tabs in the lightning app builder?

There are no custom workarounds for us to achieve what we need - yes, we can add a vertical tab LWC component but we can't drop standard components into a custom component (prove me wrong - please).  This means we can't use dynamic forms for fields, can't have the standard publisher component, can't use standard knowledge component, etc.

There are some ideas open but maybe nobody has seen this funky looking case page to get the idea more support:

🆘Help! Invalid & inactive System admin notifications are overflowing you inbox? You're not alone! Upvote the idea https://sforce.co/3X7gj2o to get this fixed - get alerts only to active admins who can use them! ✅

I continue to receive Salesforce notifications for systems where my user has been IN-Active for several months. While I cannot provide a screenshot obviously, this situation is nonetheless inconvenient. I kindly request that Salesforce address this issue to ensure notifications are only sent to active users.

Whilst being researched I'd recommend some ice cold cola with a lovely Havanna Club 3. :D

Hi @Jeremy Westerman,

Can you share what is on the roadmap for Bulk API 2.0 please?

E.g., ability to ingest data serially, support for binary data perhaps?

    Hi @Akash Jagdish Gawai,

    Let me reiterate:

Can you share what is on the roadmap for Bulk API 2.0 please?

E.g., ability to ingest data serially, support for binary data perhaps?

I think I am well aware of the current abilities, that's why my asking ;-)

Hi, is there a limit to the number of records soft deleted in the Recycle Bin per User?

https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.246.0.salesforce_app_limits_cheatsheet.meta/salesforce_app_limits_cheatsheet/salesforce_app_limits_platform_apicalls.htm suggests that yes, 5k per user license. But it's not mentioned anywhere else...

Established limitations:

  1. Org-storage limit: 25× your org's data storage allocation in MB
  2. Time Limit: up to 15 calendar days (can be extended by support to 30) unless an admin purged / hard deleted the records

The link suggests a third, per User limit. True or not?

Moreover, when an either limit is reached, "Salesforce automatically removes the oldest records, as long as they’ve been in the recycle bin for at least two hours." Can I infer that soft-deleted records don't run the risk of causing other records be purged from the Bin for 2 hours? Or does it merely suggest that the automated purging runs on a 2-hour schedule?

State and Country/Territory Picklists enabled.

The list of all countries includes fully written out name, and a 2-character Country/Territory Code. So if Salesforce knows the 2-character codes, why can't I choose to use those in my address fields, instead of the full words?

Similarly, for States! Using United States (typing it out fully here in an act of solidarity, because I have to use the entire words in Salesforce, and not US), there is a list under a "State/Province" column heading with the full words, and another column with "State Code" heading with all the 2-character abbreviations. So why can't I turn on Code vs Word?

The data is in Salesforce! Please, someone, let it be an option for the picklists of all addresses!

A "template" flow should NOT be "Active"!

I just learned, via a Case with Salesforce support, that Salesforce has provided "included" Flows to all customers. I opened a case to request that one such flow be deactivated, which I thought belonged to a managed package from a 3rd-party that my client did not renew the contract with. There is no way for me to deactivate the flow. But it turns out the flow isn't from that 3rd-party; it's from Salesforce. And Salesforce is telling me that they cannot deactivate it either.

The issue is that these flows, which I believe were intended to be provided as templates (the template box is checked) for customers to have a starting point for common automation, are also all active. So even if I alter one for my needs, and Save As, the original template remains active.

And it isn't just one! There are 16 flows in my client's instance that are all marked as "Template"s AND are all "Active"!

Now, I admit, that roughly half are screen flows. So as long as I rename when I "save as", and select the correct one, there isn't huge danger. But there is literally no reason a System Admin (or even Salesforce support) should not have control to activate and deactive all flows within an environment.
