Currently, I am preparing for my Slack Certified Admin exam. I joined online forums and communities to gain useful information from experts. I took Slack Certified Admin practice test from p2pexams. By taking this practice material I noticed a huge improvement in my concepts related to the final test. Now I feel that I can perform better in the final exam after practicing with this practice test material.

Does anyone want to share other resources regarding Slack Certified Admin exam preparation?

Hello!,

I have taken the plunge and scheduled at the end of this month to take the Slack Certified Admin Exam. I have taken the Trailhead Slack Prep Course but is there any other tips, resources I should look to?

I am really nervous, this is my first exam with Salesforce and not sure what to expect. Any advice or feedback would be very much appreciated!

Thank you!

    hi @Ashia Lister

    ,

Here are a few quick tips for the

    Slack Certified Admin exam:

    1️⃣ Review the exam guide

Focus on workspace management, user roles, security, channels, and integrations.

    2️⃣ Get hands-on practice

Spend time in a Slack workspace creating channels, managing users, and exploring admin settings.

    3️⃣ Revisit Trailhead

Go through the Slack prep modules again, especially the areas you’re unsure about.

    4️⃣ Read questions carefully

    Many are scenario-based. Choose the

best admin action, not just a possible one.

    5️⃣ Manage your time

Skip tough questions and come back later.

Most importantly—don’t stress. If you understand how a Slack admin runs a workspace, you’ll be fine. Good luck! 🚀

    Hope this helps

    thank you

Whether you participated in Slack Skills, Slack Certified Admin or Slack Certified Developer, what were some key takeaways from the course that you're now implementing in your work within Slack?

I'm a certified Salesforce administrator, and I'm wondering how difficult the test is in comparison, and if it's a similar set-up to the SF admin exam?

Hi @Stephanie Metal I don't have SF Admin cert but I have 3 other SF certifications and all Slack certs and to be honest it's very similar formula.

Very similarly structured question, tricky ones, 4 answers can be right but only one is 'the best' etc everything you know from Salesforce exams.

I don't think that at the moment administrative part of Slack is as extensive as Salesforce but if you don't have any knowledge/experience with Slack I would say you can easily fail.

Hi,

I’m a Slack Developer and Consultant and need some advice regarding the Slack Consultant certification. I attempted the exam but failed after reaching question 55.

I completed the Slack Consultant prep course, but I found some questions confusing when selecting the best answers. If anyone has tips on how to handle these types of questions and strategies for learning to choose the best answers, I would greatly appreciate your insights.

Thank you!

Hey @Tarun Gupta to be honest for consultant exam I've completed prep course twice and I have signed for Grid sandbox to do some hands-on etc. I've also read through all of the resources mentioned in the prep course and during exam I was taking my usual approach as on Salesforce exam - excluding answers that were looking 'obviously wrong' and selecting either answer by 'gut feeling' or sometimes simply taking a risk and 'shoot' 50-50 😉

What a powerful question, I can’t wait to see all the responses!

For me, the benefits are ever reaching but could be boiled down to the following:

    💡System knowledge and credibility

    💗Opportunity

🧠Showcasing ability to learn and retain information

👥 Becoming part of a community within a community, and a source of help for others

Just learning about the system has helped me use Slack better and translate that knowledge gained to others within and outside of my company

Im a huge supporter of continued education for all of these benefits and more!

We owns a SaaS product and we've built a new chat bot for our customers. They can install it from our website. I noticed that when the user installing it, on the page he/she can see the prompt "This app is not approved by Slack". The question is: How can we get app approved without publishing it to the Slack App Directory?
