#Hiasdas0 discussing

World

As this Dreamforce comes to a close, I was looking ahead to next year and realized that the first day of DF15 is on Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish new year). This is a major conflict for the Jewish community. And there are many of us - from customers to partners to SF staff - for whom this will be prohibitive from attending next year.

@Julie Liegl - can you help / explain?

We received tremendous amount of feedback, especially considering that only 10%-20% normally respond to surveys.

    Here are the highlights:

    Almost 200 responses

19% missed at least 1 day of DF16

27% didn't attend DF16 due to Rosh Hashanah

74% of the people who attended the full event felt that they were inconvenienced by the scheduling conflict.

46% said that they will not attend DF17 due to the conflict

I shared this info with Marc Benioff earlier this week.

Do you love being a Force.com

developer and want to take on your next challenge?

I'm a hiring leader with a goal to come back from DF15 with at least 3 candidates. Our scrum teams need people in New York (

Greetings Beer Drinkers!

Let's get up to Russian River this year! All are welcome, just let us know who is coming.

WHAT??: We are headed to Russian River! GROUP ROAD TRIP!

WHEN: The Monday before

#DF15

(9/14) leaving SF at 3pm

WHERE: Meeting at City Beer Store on Folsom ST. Our driver can pick us up there and we can make the 2 hour trip north to Russian River. Have beers, food if you like. Leave in time to hit Lagunitas for a night cap before finishing the drive back to SF.

WHO: YOU! Of course! Just let

@Micaiah Filkins

know, I will get you added to the list.

As for costs, we will just need to pass the hat to cover the car/van/bus, driver and tip. Otherwise, just pay for what you drink/eat.

Did I mention it will be a pretty drive also?

What are you waiting for? Let's head north!

I would recommend that you use the custom object route. Install the know your enemy application from the app exchange and do a one time load of data and a couple junction objects and you are ready to rock and roll. Either way I think it is great you are capturing the data!

I greatly appreciate the interest and support that has been provided so far. @Michael Gerholdt, @Erica Kuhl, @Catherine Simmons, @Suede Kam @* Salesforce Administrators *, @Trailblazer Community Cove, @Solo Admins, @Admin Group, Boston, US, @User Group, Long Island, US, @User Group, New York City, US, @New to Dreamforce

.

I am working diligently on getting more information directly from Salesforce regarding accessibility.

I'd appreciate any assistance with getting the message out to some of the private groups that I am not a member of such as the MVP groups that I am not a member of [(yet :-), just working on my 1st Cert].

Get ready to rock!

We're very excited to announce that the Foo Fighters will be performing at this year's Dreamforce Gala at Pier 70! We can't wait to welcome them to the Dreamforce stage along with special guest Gary Clark Jr. It's going to be an amazing show you won't want to miss!

@Julie Liegl, @Christina Kalaydjian, @Charles Cummings, I am so disappointed. My husband and I were really looking forward to seeing the Foo Fighters. We just cannot afford a $500 donation. I only make $50,000/year as a Salesforce Administrator in Florida (even though I have 20 years of database design and programming behind me - I know, my problem, and I am working on it if anyone knows of a company in Florida that is looking for someone with my experience.). We can barely afford any extras in our life as my husband is not employed. He is travelling with me all the way from Florida to see San Francisco, and it would have been nice to have him with me at the concert.
