#Field Service Lightning0 discussing

Hello everyone,

I have a question about Service Objectives. I saw that there was a Record Type called Custom Objective and I don't understand how to use it. There is also a field called FSL__Custom_Logic_Data__c to put the Custom Objectives logic. How to use this field? How to write logic in this field?

If for example, I want to use the "Same Site" Objective Service (i.e. the same address) and I want to create a similar but more precise Objective Service (for example, Same Building because there are several buildings at the same address ), do I need to enter the “Building” custom field in the Custom Logic Data?

The goal is that I would like during the optimization, that the appointments are scheduled taking into account the following Service Objectives: Same Building (highest weight), Same Location and Preferred Resource (lowest weight).

Thank you in advance for your help :)

Jo

    The User needs the System Permission 'Field Service Standard'. Assigning the permission set license with the same name is not enough.

Hello All,    I am using the service crew concepts to access each crew member's arrival, and departure timings. It seems the Service Appointment and related WorkPlans are same for each crew members, which overrides the data entered by any crew member.    Do you know if FSL tracks each crew member's data separately?

    @Phani Sammeta

    pls. could you give some more details about "each crew member's data separately" - thanks.

    A crew means, that all related data are the same, means work orders, work order line items and so on. What you could do is, that each member could track his/ her own time sheet entries. If you need a work plan for each crew member, than you have to re-think your current implementation I assume.

 I am trying to create service report with the access token received from OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Flow but when I am creating it the service report which is created is just a blank white page whereas when I am creating service report with the access token received from  OAuth 2.0 Web Server Flow is creating a service in a way it should. If anyone is aware why is it happening then please let me know? And I selected System Admin as a user in Client Credentials Flow.

    Hi,

    I have encountered a similar problem, so I have a couple of tips

    - Ensure the token includes all necessary scopes for report generation

    - Check if the token is still valid and not expired.

    - Confirm that the System Admin user has the right permissions for creating reports.

    - Review if there are any differences in API endpoints or parameters between the two flows.

    - Enable debugging to see if any error messages appear during report creation.

    Try to check the points above, maybe something will help

    If you're talking about reports in general, then one thing you can do is set up separate Report Folders, and Share them with users in these respective countries.

Hello Community,

I've encountered an issue with my Field Service Lightning (FSL) mobile app customization. I recently created a custom tab within the mobile app and hosted an LWC component there. However, despite adding this tab through the Field Service Mobile Builder and publishing it to the user profile, the changes aren't reflected in the mobile app.

Steps I followed:

  1. Created a custom tab.
  2. Hosted an LWC component within this tab.
  3. Added the tab using the Field Service Mobile Builder.
  4. Published the changes to the user profile.

Despite completing these steps, the changes don't appear in the mobile app when accessed by the user profile.

Things I've checked:

  • Verified the profile settings for the user to ensure the tab is included.
  • Ensured that the necessary permissions are correctly set up for the user.

Could anyone guide me through potential reasons why these changes might not be reflected in the mobile app? Is there a specific troubleshooting step or configuration I might have missed during this process?

Any insights or guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

    I finally made it work!

    My Field Agents didn't see my changes to the app, until after I assigned the permissions to the actual Field Agent user

    I was under the impression that those permissions was for the admin to build/customize the app, but apparently they also need to be assigned to the workers for it to work.

    For reference, these are the permissions needed as of feb 2024:

    ->Access Lightning Web Components in Field Service Mobile

    ->Custom Applications for Field Service Mobile"

Hi #FSL Experts,

I have a LWC component that is displaying using a Tab in FSL mobile app. I have a requirement where I have to navigate to a different tab (Schedule tab) from LWC button in my component. However, I'm not able to know which type of Page is Schedule in FSL so I can use relevant page type in my LWC navigation.

Let me know what will be the Type and apiName for Schedule tab in FSL mobile app.

this[NavigationMixin.Navigate]({

type: '??????',

attributes: {

apiName: '?????'

},

});

I have created a Custom tab in Field Service Mobile App Builder and added a LWC to it. I can view it using IOS as an administrator or as a FSL user, but on an android device only the standard buttons are available.

Here I can see my Job notes tab on an IOS device, Administrators and FSL users can see this providing they are using a IOS device.

Unable to view custom tabs on Andriod devices using Field Services

This is what I see logged in on an Andriod device.

We have tried deleting the app and starting from a fresh install, a brand new device was also tried, all permissions have been checked.

The following has been enabled

- Access Lightning Web Components in Field Service Mobile

- Custom Applications for Field Service Mobile

- Access drag-and-drop content builder

- Customize application

Has anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
