Hey all,

unfortunately Conga support is unavailable right now (can't login in community and can't call...) so I hope you can help.

I want to add write back tags onto my word document. It's a Checkbox field and the tag itself is working. But through Composer and Sign I have this huge empty space between the resolved box and the text (Checkbox is in front of text). How can I solve this issue?

That's my Tag: \wb1 {"apiName":"Werbeklausel_Telefon__c", "defaultValue": “{{VERTRAG_WERBEKLAUSEL_TELEFON}}“}\

Thank you so much!

Need help with Writeback Checkbox in Word Document

    @Jan Tonnet

this is the reply from Conga:

"I can see you are encountering an issue with Blank Space in your Conga Sign/Composer solution. The issue here is that the full length of the Writeback field is used, and static text is placed after the sentence. A recommended work around would be to please the Static Text before the writeback, or make the Writeback text font size equal one, as this does not affect the final box size. "

As putting the text in front of the Checkbox is no option, they suggest to use the smallest font size for the tag. Will try this.

I'm trying to add a field onto a Conga template.  This field is Plaintiff_Attny_Name.  This field resides on our Claim object but is a lookup field to a contact record, Name.  I can't figure out how to format this field correct so that it populates the name on the Conga template.  I got it to a point where it would populate a salesforce ID, but that's it.    Any help with this is greatly appreciated!!

Hi, @Jason Kish, it might be easier to add a new formula field for the Contact Name on the Claim-object and use it in the Conga Template.

Hi Folks,

We have a Conga document generation process that we've customized by forming the URL using inputs from a Visualforce (VF) page. In Conga document generation, there are two options: 'Save to Record' and 'Download.' When using 'Save to Record,' it redirects to the record page once the document is generated. However, when the 'Download' option is selected, it does not redirect to the record page; instead, it stays on the Conga Composer page after downloading the file. Is this the expected behavior, or can we customize it to show a message or redirect to the record page? Please share your thoughts.

    Hi Karthikeyan,

You can try lauching your Conga solution from a screenflow so you would be able to control final behavior thanks to a navigation button.

May I take advantage of this to ask you how you were able to retreive your inputs from Visualforce page? My final template is a Word template and I can't retreive my VF page when trying the {{IMAGE: FieldName}} merge field.

    Thank you for your help

We have a button on invoice run that is used to send invoices to customers. This button uses conga trigger and Conga template (Not conga email template). Currently we are facing an issue with this job  that the Conga Trigger is consistently throwing the following error: "An error occurred while loading the template for id:0T_XXXXXXXXX". Does anyone has faced this before or have any idea about how to fix this?

@Jenna Engelhardt @Aishwary Rawal I was sending email attachments on conga document generation. Found that the user I was using to send email as did not have the license, it was removed recently. So the error message is not completely accurate. You might have to check on multiple things mentioned here.  I suggest reaching out to conga support as well

Hi folks,

I was using Conga Composer to generate a document in Word format that will be attached to the Account record. This is working as expected.

In the document, I have a table with a column that contains amount values represented like this: $120. At the end of the column, I am using the formula "{=SUM(Above)}" to sum the above values. This works as expected when we generate the document in Word and PDF, download it to the local system, and preview it. However, when we save it to the account and preview it from there, it shows an incorrect total value, displaying random values as mentioned in the screenshot. When we download the same document and previewed in local system it is showing data as expected.Issue while previewing the conga generated word document in SalesforceHas anyone faced similar issues? Any ideas on how to overcome this?

@Xander van Luijk Actually, it is showing the correct value when we download it. It is the Word document preview issue.

Hi Folks,

Once the document is generated, the options I chose were PDF and download, so the document is downloaded and the page stops at this stage (as mentioned in the screenshot). Once the document is generated, it should redirect to the previous page or record from where it was initiated. How can I achieve this? Has anyone faced the same issue? After generating the document, Conga is not redirecting to the record page

Thanks,

Karthikeyan K

@Naresh Koya Thanks for your response, Checked this already, and it is working if we choose to save the document in the record, if we choose to download then redirection is not working.

I am writing to report an issue we are experiencing with our Conga Composer integration within Salesforce. Despite having the correct logic and configuration in place, the wrong file is being generated for a specific Opportunity.

wrong file is generated instead of right file.

I have created an Quote template, now I want to add our company conditions (3 pages) into this template. We tried it first with IF statements (see example it's in Dutch) to make the Conditions appear "Ja" (Yes) and disappear when the conditions says "Nee" (No) but it creates a Blank page, to avoid this, i created a separate template with these conditions and would like to merge the Company conditions template into the quote template, please help me out.

Unfortunately it's not the solution i am looking for, this is about creating email templates and not about merging 2 templates into 1.

    Thanks for helping me out
