Hello everyone,
I am using Automation Studio as a mean to automatically update audiences on social media using profiles from my SF reports.
I am following the documentation to the letter but despite choosing an audience of 60k+ contacts, importing email, phone and ID, my matching rate is 0.
If I do it manually I have a 50% matching rate on LinkedIn so the problem is really on the import I think.
Has anyone ever had this problem and if yes, what was done to correct it ?

Is your question about the situation where a manually created list has a 50% matching rate with LinkedIn in MC Advertising, but when creating a list automatically, there is no matching with LinkedIn in MC Advertising at all?
I created a copy of an automation that we are using with an active journey. Whenever I made changes to the copy, the changes appeared in the original as well, and it resulted in the journey becoming disconnected from its data extension and contacts were no longer being entered into the journey.
I was able to fix things and get the journey back up and running, but I wasn't able to get a firm answer about whether it is safe to delete the copy of the automation without impacting the original automation.
Does anyone know what the implications are?
If you have an original automation and a copy of that automation, deleting the copy generally shouldn't impact the original automation. thewatchwrestling However, there are a few scenarios where there could be an impact:
In general, if the copy of the automation is truly a duplicate with no active use or dependencies, deleting it shouldn't directly impact the original automation. However, it's always a good idea to review any potential impacts before deleting any part of your automation setup.
In the Automation Studio, I see the below screen. I'm new to SFMC. The last person had worked on this. As as far I researched, we have Marketing Cloud connect to link Salesforce report to Data Extension. What is this screen means? I see there are 9 workflows and all these are Data extensions. I need to clone of the DE from here and need to add some filter but don't clone option. Is this screen means these DEs are linked to salesforce reports. Please help me to understand.

I'm able to access File locations in Email Studio's Interactions where as in Automation Studio, File locations are not showing up & keeps loading this way. I suppose this is a permission related issue. Can anyone suggest the way to get it solved?

To access configuration details and run history for an Automation Studio activity, view the activity's object detail page. Use this page to locate error information about the activity, too. On the Activities page, select an activity type from the left menu. Click the name of the activity whose details you want to see.
Hello there! After a file import from SFTP to a data extension in Automation Studio, the Data Extension Import Notification email lists the results, but I haven't been able to find anything in the AS documentation defining the "Skipped" scenarios.

Most are pretty self-explanatory, but can anyone validate my assumption that "Skipped" means I had duplicate primary keys in my file? I'm using the "Add and Update" method.

If you select the skip rows with bad data, you are skipping bad data :)
In advance options:
it's asking you if you want to skip the import if any of the conditions?
Though other fields has duplicate values but not the Primary Key field. Whereas using data action as "Overwrite" obviously runs but overwrite all duplicates resulting in less data. Any idea on how can this issue be approached?

Hey guys, I have imported a report 'A' (with 1000 records) from Salescloud and successfully created a data extension 'A' (with same 1000 records) in Mkt Cloud. Then I scheduled to import that report 'A' daily in automation studio. After a few days later, I removed 10 records from report 'A' in Salescloud. But I found that the data extension 'A' still have 1000 records even though the automation activity ran successfully.
Does anyone know why the record counts do not sync between Salescloud and Marketing cloud? Anything I have missed out?
