🚨 Stop Guessing Which Salesforce Fields Are Actually Used! 🚨
Hey Ohana! 👋
We all know the pain of cluttered page layouts. Users ask for custom fields, but six months later... are they even filling them out? Cleaning up "dead" fields usually means exporting massive spreadsheets or writing complex SOQL queries.
Not anymore.
Meet FieldPulse — a Chrome extension that overlays org-wide data health directly onto your Lightning record pages. It takes zero admin setup and instantly shows you what is safe to delete.
Why you'll love it:
- 🚦 Instant Visuals: Color-coded badges show the exact fill rate (e.g., Green = 75%+, Red = Under 25%).
- 💀 Catch "Dead" Fields: Instantly identifies fields with a 0% fill rate across the org.
- 📊 One-Click PDF Reports: Generate a beautiful data health report to share with stakeholders.
- 🔒 100% Secure: It processes locally in your browser using your active session. No data leaves your screen.
Whether you are doing an org health check, prepping for a migration, or just tackling technical debt, this is a massive time-saver.

Let me know what you think in the comments! How are you currently managing your field cleanup?
Thanks everyone for the encouraging feedback, really appreciate it!
Regarding security and metadata access, I’ve documented everything in detail here: https://fieldpulse.forcenaut.com/security
In short, the extension does not store or transmit your org data externally. It operates within the user’s browser session and respects Salesforce security and access controls. All interactions are limited to what the logged-in user is already authorized to access.
Happy to answer any specific questions if you have them 👍
