One important clarification guys. Upon re-reading Mark's post, I realize there are two parts to this:

    1) TOPICS FOR OBJECTS: The screen shot Mark posted shows the Community Management Console being used to add

    #Topics For Objects

to individual knowledge articles. These are stored in the TopicAssignment object, which IS available from SObject. A few key things to remember:

    - These are Community-scoped. If you use Workbench to query TopicAssignment, you will see the NetworkId field. The topics you assign to articles in the Community Management Console will contain the ID of the Network (community) you are in at the time. This is important.

    - The EntityId field contains the Salesforce ID of the article (e.g. FAQ_kav) you are tagging. When used with other objects, that field contains the ID of the records or FeedItem the topic was tagged to.

    - TopicId contains the Salesforce ID of the topic you are tagging to that record.

Tagging a knowledge article with a topic (in the current community) makes it appear on the Topic Detail page under the Articles tab/component.

    2) MANAGED TOPICS: As described above, you can set individual topics to be in the navigation and/or featured. This is the process I described above, and is manageable through the REST API of Chatter Connect.

Hello everyone,

I recently set up a community in a sandbox. I want to migrate it to my production org, so I set up a changeset in which I included the community network component and both of the Site.com components that go along with it. Upon deploying it, I get an error that is associated with the network component and it says "URL is already taken". How can I fix this problem?

Lauren, that is exactly my problem. How do you think I could fix it?

Hi

I threw together a quick (15 minute) recording on how to set up / configure the new "Contact Support Form + Case Deflection Component" in Communities, which we just released in Spring'18. This has some cool features, and will need to be configured right in order for the Case Deflection Dashboard to work properly (when it ships along with the Community Management Package in a few weeks).

I kept the awful jokes to a minimum while recording so I could share it with you all.  Feel free to follow these steps in your own Community if you like, but promise not to watch the last 30 seconds of the recording, where the demo goes off the rails.

A novice question for you here, based on the Recommendations functionality.

If I add context variables to my existing URL, i.e. "?userId={!userId}" where do I look to track and view the information this is sending back?

Cheers

Hello! I'm asking myself the same question! I manage a community on SF Exp Cloud and I want to know who clicked on the recommendations! Did you find the answer to the question? I've been asking everyone and reading every page online but still don't know the answer.

Strict CSP and Google Analytics event tracking

Hi

We are using forceCommunity:analyticsInteraction to track custom events in Google Analytics.

I'm experimenting with implementing Strict CSP in our community and am getting errors around GA - is it currently possible to have strict CSP and use GA to track events?

    Ah gotcha.

No, we're using relaxed CSP on our site.

    Sorry for the confusion.

Implementing reCAPTCHA in Community Cloud

<

https://www.learncommunitycloud.com/s/article/Implementing-reCAPTCHA-in-Community-Cloud

>

It is possible to implement all 3 currently available Google reCAPTCHA

types within a Salesforce Lighting Community without VisualForce

workarounds or disabling Lightning Locker. The concept that makes this

possible is the isolation of the 3rd party library within the Head Markup

of the community. Using JavaScript events, Aura and LWC components can

interact with the library without the responsibility of loading or

referencing it directly.

This article will help you choose the right experience for your users and

cover code examples you can try yourself for each reCAPTCHA type....

Good Afternoon,

Does anyone have any experience of BI platforms that are compatible with Salesforce Communities? Out the box SFDC reporting and dashboards are not adequate for what we want to achieve - so are there any products where we can easily embed charts / dashboards out there?

Anyone got any experience of Einstein Analytics in a community?

How are most people handling translations using Salesforce CMS?

I've read some of the documentation on exporting/importing .zip archives of .xliff files, but am hoping there is an option to author content in-language. This would be valuable for editing translated content or for smaller/quicker jobs done in-house by employees not familiar with .xliff files.
