Salesforce CMS

I'm struggling with CMS content. I'm trying to get images to display in either CMS Single Item or the CMS Collection, yet no image comes through.

I've created content, the body is the image, I've got the image in the banner image section. I'm not sure where I am missing something to make something display.

Can anybody help?

Disable link in CMS Single Item and customize font of Subheader

I am trying to move all of my content into CMS so that I can have marketing work on the content without having to go into the pages and mess with what I am working on. But in doing so I have found two issues:

1. Is there a way to disable the link? Currently the link is set to the Headline. If I try to customize it so that Headline links to none the save option is disabled. And I can't find any other way to change the default behavior of the link. And if you click the link it just goes to the detail page for that article, which is the same thing it shows on the previous page.

2. Is there any way to customize the Subheader font properties on one page but not another? In the CMS component you can only change the size between regular and small. And the only other option is color. If you change the CSS of the CMS component it will change the font properties for everypage where the component shows up. Is there a workaround?

I noticed that ManagedContentType doesn't work with sfdx, at least in source format.

We're getting an error while using sfdx force:source:pull:

We can’t retrieve the specified metadata object: ManagedContentType. Certain metadata types, like ManagedContentType are not currently supported by the CLI.

This prevent us from adding this metadata in our sfdx project, we need to store it outside in the metadata format.

Do you have plans to add support for source format ?

Hi all, i am currently working with Salesforce CMS to share content to a Partner community.

I need to translate some content from standard content type and custom content type as well but the translation doesn't appear on the content detail page, the localized fields are blank on the translation target language. I followed the documentation by exporting the zip, translating the content without modifying the file structure and then importing the zip back.

Couldn't find any help on the subject in the net since this technology is quite recent.

How are most people handling translations using Salesforce CMS?

I've read some of the documentation on exporting/importing .zip archives of .xliff files, but am hoping there is an option to author content in-language. This would be valuable for editing translated content or for smaller/quicker jobs done in-house by employees not familiar with .xliff files.

I am using Salesforce CMS and CMS Collections. A couple releases ago, Salesforce created a Salesforce CMS App. This App is great because it can be accessed from Salesforce with no need to go to the Community Workspaces and Content Management. From the App, Users can update Content or create new Content and in theory automatically update in the community.

My problem is that there is no easy way to tag content with a Topic from the APP. After my Users create the content in the App, I have to tell them to go to Setup>Communities>Workspaces>Content Management>Find your Content>Tag with Topics. I really don't want to give these Users that type of access.

The reason I am asking my Users to tag their content with Topics is because we are automatically assigning content to Collections based on Topic. 

I hope someone can provide a simple way to automatically add Content to Collections. 

Awesome that you are adding KB Articles to a CMS Collection. Are you going to provide documentation for it? The documentation for CMS Collections for documents and images is woefully inadequate. So I am worried the support for this new feature will be the same.

I encountered and error in the cms home and i don't know how to solve it.

Everytime i try to add an image inside a Cms article i receive the following error.

'{0}' isn't a valid contentBodyId.:source

I need to create several CMS articles but i can't move on without adding images

Has anyone met this error before?

Neither the Carousel nor the Slide Show layout option of the CMS Collection behaves like the Lightning Carousel where the component automatically rotates through the available content items.  Any consideration to adding that ability to the Collection Component?
