I'm getting stumped on this. Org wants to create a push notification for overdue tasks. I have done it using a record-triggered flow with 7 days and 2 days as being notifications email to say Task is about to be due. Could it just be a push notification which stays in Salesforce, notification sent to the notification bell once daily .

Hi @Scott Holmes -  Create a Scheduled-Triggered Flow that runs once a day.

     Get Task records where:

    • IsClosed = False
    • ActivityDate < TODAY()

     Use the Custom Notification action.

Send the notification to the Task Owner.

The notification will appear in the Salesforce notification bell.

If you also want the 7-day and 2-day reminders, those can remain as scheduled paths in your existing record-triggered flow.

Hello everyone,

I’m currently preparing for the Salesforce Certified Platform Foundations exam and am looking for high-quality practice questions to help evaluate my readiness.

Whether official or third-party, free or paid, I would love to hear which study platforms or practice exams worked best for you.

Thank you so much for your help!

We make outbound Apex callouts from a named credential to a vendor API. The vendor has moved that API onto a private cloud network, and our callouts now fail at the network layer before auth is ever evaluated.

The only working solution we've found is for the vendor to allowlist Salesforce's published Hyperforce outbound ranges from https://ip-ranges.salesforce.com/ip-ranges.json (per KB 003876184, which explicitly recommends an IP allowlist for outbound Apex callouts since Salesforce outbound IPs may not resolve under *.salesforce.com).

That works, but it has two drawbacks we'd like to avoid: the ranges are shared across all Salesforce tenants on that infrastructure, so it's a weak control rather than a real identity boundary and Salesforce advises allowlisting the entire file, which is a broad and evolving surface for the vendor's security team to accept.

What I'm hoping someone has solved before--

  1. Salesforce's stated preferred alternatives are mTLS and domain allowlisting, but both assume the far side is filtering at the application layer. When the block is network-level, a client certificate doesn't get you through the firewall. Has anyone actually used mTLS to solve a reachability problem rather than an auth one, or am I right that it's the wrong tool here?
  2. Private Connect / Outbound Network Connection appears to be AWS PrivateLink only. Can anyone confirm whether Azure-hosted targets are supported, now or on the roadmap?
  3. Is there any other mechanism to give an external endpoint a stable or narrower egress identity for Apex callouts?
  4. For those who've hit this: did you end up putting a relay/gateway in front of the private service and pointing Salesforce at that instead? Would you recommend it?

Any experience appreciated, we have a go-live this week, so we're proceeding with the allowlist for now and looking for something more durable after.

Hi everyone,

I’m working on social media content workflows and I’m trying to understand how other teams manage Instagram video assets when they need to reuse them in Marketing Cloud campaigns.

For example, a short Instagram video may later be needed for an email campaign, landing page, or another marketing asset. Do you normally keep these files in a dedicated DAM or cloud storage system, or do you manage them directly through Content Builder?

I’m especially interested in the workflow for keeping the original video quality, organizing different versions, and avoiding duplicate files.

For smaller Instagram workflows, I’ve also come across browser-based tools such as Indown.mobi, but I’m mainly interested in how Salesforce users structure the overall media-management process.

What approach has worked best for your team?

Hello everyone,

I’m new here and have never used Salesforce before. I’m finding it quite confusing and overwhelming to navigate Trailblaser and figure out where to start.

My goal is to become a Sales/Revenue Operations Manager, but I currently lack the technical and systems knowledge I need for the role. I’ve been trying to find relevant training, but I’m struggling to find the right courses through the search function.

If anyone has advice on where I should start or can recommend useful resources or learning paths, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you!

Hello! Does anyone have any suggestions on call tracking features in salesforce? We are leaning towards Aircall CTI, but if anyone has any suggestions on something similar and/or better let me know!

We want it to be as seamless as possible - our reps make a call in salesforce and it's automatically tracked/notes, states how long the call was etc. and we can report on it.

Aircall sounds like a good fit for what you need. The automatic logging and call duration tracking are especially useful if your reps make a lot of calls. I’d also compare the reporting and CRM integration before deciding, since those can make a big difference once the team starts using it regularly.

After many years of working with Salesforce, one change I’m seeing clearly is the shift from traditional CRM automation toward AI-driven, agent-based solutions.

With Agentforce, Data 360, Flow, Apex, and AI agents becoming more connected, I’d love to hear from the Trailblazer Community:

What Salesforce skill do you believe will be the most important for professionals over the next 2–3 years — Agentforce, Data 360, Apex/LWC, Integration, or something else?

And more importantly, why?

Looking forward to learning from your experiences and perspectives.

    Hi Venkat,

Good discussion topic. Rather than picking one winner, here's what the data and Salesforce's own market direction actually show:

Data 360 is the real foundation, not just another skill on the list.

Salesforce's own Q3 FY26 earnings confirm Agentforce and Data 360 combined are now their fastest-growing revenue line, up 114% YoY to ~$1.4B ARR, with Data 360 ingesting 32 trillion records in a single quarter (up 119% YoY). More tellingly, Salesforce has architecturally folded Data Cloud into Data 360 as the mandatory data layer underneath Agentforce, agents are only as reliable as the data grounding them. This isn't marketing framing, it's a structural dependency: you cannot build a production-grade agent without clean, governed, unified data underneath it.

    Reference:

    https://www.salesforce.com/news/press-releases/2025/12/03/fy26-q3-earnings/

Agentforce is the visible layer, Data 360 is the plumbing.

Most professionals will interact with Agentforce (the builder, agent scripting, orchestration), but the differentiated, harder-to-replicate skill will be Data 360 architecture: semantic data modeling, identity resolution, and governance. Agentforce adoption without solid Data 360 underneath is exactly what's producing "agent quietly creates cleanup work" failures being reported across 2026 implementations.

Apex/LWC isn't going away, but its role is shifting.

Programmatic skills remain essential for custom actions, complex orchestration logic, and Apex-invoked Agentforce actions, but they're becoming a supporting skill for AI workflows rather than the primary interface, less "build the whole feature in code," more "build the specific action an agent invokes."

Integration is quietly becoming inseparable from Data 360.

With Salesforce's Informatica acquisition now folded into Data 360 (bringing data catalog, MDM, and governance natively), integration skill is merging into the Data 360 skillset rather than remaining a separate specialty. If you're building integration expertise, doing it through a Data 360/MuleSoft lens rather than pure point-to-point API work is the more future-proof framing.

My honest read: if you can only deepen one area over the next 2-3 years, Data 360 (data modeling, governance, identity resolution) has the strongest structural case, it's the layer every other skill (Agentforce, Apex actions, integrations) increasingly depends on to actually work reliably in production, not just in a demo.

Aloha everyone!

We're evaluating Salesforce's native Document Processing feature (under the Automations tab) as a replacement for MuleSoft IDP, which is a significant recurring cost for us and which we're barely using relative to what we're paying for it.

  1. To use Document Processing, we had to activate Agentforce Agents. Does Document Processing usage draw from Agentforce/Data Cloud credit consumption, or is it billed/metered separately?
  2. Where can we actually see this consumption in our org? We can't find a clear place to monitor usage tied to Document Processing specifically.

Much mahaloz,

Reno Redaja

    Hi @Reno Redaja

Based on Salesforce’s current Flex Credits model, Document Processing should be evaluated as part of the metered Agentforce usage rather than assuming it has a completely separate credit pool. Salesforce uses Flex Credits for metered Agentforce actions, and usage can be monitored through Setup → Digital Wallet.

If you don’t see a specific “Document Processing” entry, check the relevant usage type/action details in Digital Wallet, since Salesforce groups consumption by usage type rather than necessarily displaying every feature as a separate line item.

I’d also recommend checking your org’s Flex Credits Rate Card/contract, because the actual multiplier and billing treatment can depend on the specific usage type and entitlement.

Hope this helps clarify where to look.

Hi Tableau Community, I have a 3 node High Availability Tableau Server Production Environment which has almost more than 1TB of data and 4000+ users are working on it with Core Based Licensing.

Yesterday I initiated maintenance and restart activity of the server to bring back the backgrounder service, VizQL Service and the Application Server Service of my 2nd node to working from Degraded. But after restart, the error still persisted and Data Server also went into error state in 2nd node.

Since it is a production server and I can't get downtime again, kindly let me know how can I bring back my Tableau Server from Degraded to running again.

Thank you in advance

    Hi Garvit,

Since this is a production 3-node HA environment, I would avoid making any further changes or restarting services without first checking the Tableau Server status and logs for the affected node.

Could you please share the exact error/status shown for the Backgrounder, VizQL, Application Server, and Data Server services on node 2, along with any relevant errors from the Tableau Server logs?

If the services continue to remain in a degraded/error state after the standard checks, I recommend opening a case with Salesforce/Tableau Support so they can review the server logs and advise on the safest recovery approach without impacting the production environment.

    Hope this helps.
