Hello!

I am setting up a program our corporate membership program to track and ensure members use their benefits. I have been able to add organization accounts to program engagements, but have not had success when it comes to naming. I have updated the code in process builder, but anonymous is still showing up. Has anyone had this issue? Was it solve in process builder, or did you have to move over to flows?

Customizing Program Engagement Naming for Organization Record Types

    Hi Danielle,

Anonymous is the giveaway. The name automation is still reading the Contact, and on an organization engagement that Contact is empty.

Those org engagements have the Account filled in and no Contact. The PMM naming, including that process builder, builds the name off the contact. Nothing there to read, so it drops in Anonymous.

Tweaking the process builder doesn't fix it if the formula is still pointed at the contact, or if the managed process runs after yours and writes Anonymous back.

I'd get off Process Builder for this. It's legacy, and it will keep fighting you. A before-save flow on Program Engagement is the version that holds.

If the Contact is filled, name it from the contact and the program. If the Contact is blank and the Account is filled, name it from the account and the program. Then deactivate the process builder so it stops overwriting the flow.

The engagement itself is fine. The name logic just never learned about organization accounts.

Whenever I try to Run Optimizer from the Server menu, I get this error:

Run Optimizer not working in Tableau Desktop

That error looks like something worth checking on the Tableau side, especially since it happens directly when launching Run Optimizer. Hopefully one of the replies can identify whether it’s a version issue or a problem with the workbook setup.

https://trailhead.salesforce.com/it/content/learn/superbadges/superbadge-mfa-sso-settings/superbadge-mfa-sso-settings_sso-config for the exercise. I have completed all the steps one by one, but I am running into an issue validating the challenge within the "Multi-Factor Authentication and Single Sign-On Setting" superbadge—specifically regarding the https://axiomsso.herokuapp.com app. I managed to correctly configure the SAML parameters, associate the Federation ID with the user profile, and successfully complete the login test using the Axiom HTTP POST binding. However, when returning to Trailhead for verification, the system returns the error: "We can't see that you were able to successfully test login via single sign-on using the Axiom

Challenge

Create a Permission Set to Handle Field Access

One of the requirements of our Recruiting app is that Hiring Managers can update job applications, but they can’t change the related candidate or position. Create a permission set that gives the correct access.

Need Help?

  • Review common issues.
  • Get help on the challenges for this specific module.
  • Create a permission set:
    • Label: Manage Job Applications
    • API Name: Manage_Job_Applications
    • Add a description (We won’t check for this.)
    • License: -None-
    • Enable Job Application Object Permissions: Read and Edit
    • Enable Job Application Field Permissions: Assigned users can view all fields and edit all fields, except they can’t edit Position and Candidate.

I can't see where the issue is, but I keep getting a response

we cant find that the "Manage job applications" permission grant read access and edit access to all job applications fields, except access for Position and Candidate

please assist

Hi,

Use-case: In a 3rd party VoIP softphone there is an incoming phone call from customer. The phone call is already visible in Salesforce Omni Channel widget, as a CALL_STARTED event was published. Customer rep can successfully accept the call by pressing "Accept" in Omni Channel widget/sidebar.

However, in our case the rep can also accept the call directly in our softphone. In that case we need to programmatically tell Salesforce that "this call is now accepted". I'm having trouble finding the correct mechanism for this, in the Service Cloud Voice base connector (@salesforce/scv-connector-base).

Any advice, please?

I did find that this might be possible by using the Voice LWC Toolkit API, as it has "acceptCall" method available which sounds very tempting. But I'm trying to understand if this is really the only way. It seems to me that the Connector should support such a simple use-case. Currently we don't have the Voice LWC Toolkit in use at all, and I'm trying to avoid bloating our implementation.

@Tero Nurmi Understood, that last paragraph was the other case.

What you kept is still the desk-phone signal. isSoftphoneCall false on CALL_CONNECTED records a hard phone, so the VoiceCall can look complete without the Omni accept.

If this rep should own the call, acceptCall from the LWC is still what ties the AgentWork. The other events staying true doesn't change that one.

Hi everyone!

For past three weeks I had troubles with scheduling and paying for Salesforce exam.

First, I tried to schedule exam and my payment failed, tried to use another card, it failed again. After this strike Pearson blocked my account.

It took me a whole week to unlock it with a help of Salesforce Support.

Once unlocked, I noticed that I am still unable to pay (I contacted my bank, they say there was no payment request, card has money on it and I never had any troubles with paying using this card).

The only message once payment failed I get is

"Uh oh! We're unable to process your payment. Please call your card issuer for further details".Unable to pay for Salesforce exam or buy voucher. Fail to schedule my exam on Pearson Vue.

Salesforce Support suggested me buying voucher and paying for exam using voucher.

Frankly, here I faced another problem of not being able to reach the site where I can buy vouchers:Vouchers.png

Cleared cache, cookies, tried from anonymous window.

Tried using Visa and Mastercard.

Not using any VPN.

Tried using VPN.

Nothing.

Contacting Pearson support unfortunately is not quite pleasant experience.

Moreover, to talk to their support I have to use paid phone line, which makes it even more

ridiculous: I have to pay them to help me pay for the exam.

I still have Salesforce Support ticket open, but it takes them a while to reply and all the advices I am getting are: reload, clear cache, use anonymous window... This does not help.

I am really tired and will appreciate any kind of help.

Thank You.

*.xxxr.usa-e2.cloudhub.io

The call fails from SAP with the following error:

SOAP:1,023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR")

We reviewed the certificate chain presented by the CloudHub 2 endpoint and imported the following certificates into SAP STRUST:

The certificate chain validates successfully outside SAP.

However, SAP ECC still reports ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR when calling the MuleSoft endpoint.

Has anyone experienced this issue with SAP ECC and the newer Let's Encrypt certificate chain used by CloudHub 2?

Specifically, I would like to confirm:

  1.  Which SAP STRUST PSE should contain the CA certificates for an outbound HTTPS SOAP call: SSL Client Anonymous or SSL Client Standard?
  2.  Is the CloudHub leaf/server certificate required in STRUST, or should only the CA/intermediate certificates be trusted?
  3.  Are there known compatibility issues between older SAPCRYPTOLIB versions and the newer YR1 / ISRG Root YR Let's Encrypt chain?
  4.  Does SAP ICM need to be restarted/reloaded after updating the certificate list?
  5.  Is there any special TLS/SNI configuration required when SAP ECC calls a CloudHub 2 endpoint?

MuleSoft itself is available and the endpoint can be reached successfully from other HTTPS clients.

Any guidance on what to check in SAP SMICM/STRUST or CloudHub 2 would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi everyone, We are experiencing an SSL/TLS connectivity issue between SAP ECC and a MuleSoft application deployed on CloudHub 2.0. SAP ECC is acting as the HTTPS client and is calling a MuleSoft endpoint hosted under:

@Oscar Blancas ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR means the handshake is dying inside ICM before any SOAP response. Other clients working, and the chain validating outside SAP, fits that.

For an outbound HTTPS call that does not present a client certificate, the CAs belong in SSL Client (Anonymous), and the destination has to use ANONYM. If the destination is set to DFAULT, ICM reads SSL Client (Standard) instead. Importing the chain into the other PSE looks done and still fails.

Trust the intermediate and the root, not the CloudHub leaf. The leaf is what the server presents during the handshake. Putting that server certificate in the PSE certificate list does not replace trusting the issuer.

Saving STRUST is not enough for a running ICM. Restart ICM from SMICM after the PSE change. On the Let's Encrypt YR chain and SNI, I wouldn't call a specific incompatibility from here. CloudHub picks the certificate from the hostname, and an older CommonCryptoLib that does not send SNI can fail this handshake even with the right CAs. The ICM trace at a higher level is what names the TLS alert. That trace is the next fact, not another import of the leaf.

Hola Trailblazers,

We have the Data Cloud Web SDK on our WordPress site, and it captures website engagement well: page views, plus a custom websiteFormSubmission event whose schema includes some of our form fields. All of it is tied to the SDK’s anonymous deviceId, so it never links to our Lead and Contact records.

Our forms are Marketing Cloud Next embedded forms. They load in an iframe from a separate subdomain, so scripts on our WordPress page can’t read the email field when someone submits. A manually sent identity event with an email works and lands in Data Cloud as identified. We just can’t get the email from the embedded form to send it.

Questions

1. Is it possible to send identity events from our WordPress site and use the email in the MC Next embedded forms?

2. Any other advice on stitching MC Next form activity to Lead/Contacts? Maybe creating hidden custom fields on the forms and collecting DeviceID & Conversion Page data that way?
