Hello @Matthew de Castro it seems you have access in fact :)
You can have a trailhead account created outside of your company Salesforce username (that is my case for example) and then linked after to your internal Salesforce username (hands-on org menu in your trailblazer profile : click on your avatar on the top right corner of the trailblazer / trailhead page when connected, and then associate your Salesforce company internal username). Hi
I am looking for a way to send out welcome emails from marketing cloud when an account is created in SFDC. I know that I am late to the game but I am really confused as to how I should be inserting new contacts into a journey & have these emails sent out in real-time so we don't miss out on any contacts.
Thanks

29 sept 2021, 16:41 Hi @Esha Jones ,
I think “Marketing Cloud Connect” triggered send can also be configured to be used in Apex trigger. I haven’t tried this personally but here is YouTube video which goes through steps and seems pretty simple which might not require technical team support -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCIEAWdCpc8Above should work, but just as a worst case scenario, you might want to involve technical team to try out above so they can have a look and if still above doesn’t work, they can write Apex class to call SFMC API in order to trigger a journey or triggered send
Hello,
We are looking to create an onboarding programme which uses Dynamic Content to send customers resources based on which resources they have purchased.
The purchased resources are captured on the Product object tied to the Opportunity object in Salesforce, so I understand this cannot be used for Dynamic Content.
Customers may purchase several resources (up to 20 different products).
I did have a call with a specialist who initially suggested creating a formula field on Lead or Contact, and using Process Builder to pull through the Product information to their record. However, this only works if they purchase one resource (which isn’t the case as our customers purchase several different resources). They cannot suggest a workable solution for our use case.
Does any one have any ideas?
Many thanks
1 abr 2021, 16:21 I am not sure. One of us is definitely missing a piece of information.
Hi All, I am onboarding new org where I will be acting as a BA and need to submit a request for areas I want to review i.e. documenation? Does anyone have any suggestions as regards good questions to ask? Heres what I have so far;
Can we setup a shadowing session to understand your workflows.
Can we get access to your JIRA board
What known issues are you working with and what are the workarounds
Can we get a glossary or data dictionary list of your terms
Who are the key stakeholders who manage systems that integrate to Salesforce?
Do you have an org chart?
16 nov 2020, 17:41 Hi @Stuart Edeal , I really liked it. I particularly enjoyed how you framed the role along similar lines to the approach needed by Architects. One area I underestimated - and you have since clarified - is the Strategic Analysis question or understanding the Business Goal first and tackle the more technical questions later.
For me, I will also be focusing on Stakeholder Relationships and as we are still in the initial phase of building that trust to ensure a smooth transition of the business domain.
Good day to all. I am looking into creating a quick onboarding email for new Sf users. Any suggestions?
3 oct 2020, 08:32 Hi @Philippe Maman - I think you can add the required branding to the emails being sent out
See if the below link helps
https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=collab_admin_email_customize.htm&type=5You can also use Process builder to customize the flow where emails are sent on user creation
This might be of help to you

Cheers.
I am trying to figure out a way to add someone to a dynamic list based on an opportunity that is recently won (to then get them into engagement studio). It seems that to connect them in Pardot to an opp they must be a contact role - but we want to capture all contacts in the account (that are not marked inactive) and send them a welcome email after their account has been closed won. This is time critical so important the timing is right. Does anyone know the best way to do this? I am looking into using PB to send them to a campaign based in SF then add them to the list based on the campaign?!. Thanks for any tips!
18 ago 2020, 09:21 Hi @Lucy Mazalon. Unfortunately we don't have an automation for status set up, so I was looking for other ways...but this may have to be the best way to do it. Thanks for your response!

5 Tips for Successfully On-boarding your Customers
Here at Salesforce, we’re obsessed with the customer experience. Just about every day I’m in a meeting on how we can make onboarding seamless and improve the daily lives of our customers. And over the course of my time here, we’ve found what we consider the best ways to make the onboarding experience pain-free. Then one day it dawned on us: Our customers have their own customers, which means they probably have their own onboarding needs and desires. So to help you skirt a few challenges, we’ll share our top 5 tips for successfully onboarding customers. Enjoy!
1. Walk your current onboarding process as a customer.
Onboarding means different things to different people. Some consider onboarding to be part of the trial phase of a product, while others consider it to be something that happens post sale. However you define it, walk through your onboarding offering as if you’re a brand new customer. See what type of emails, resources, and interactions you receive. Does an account executive or implementation consultant reach out? What’s the cadence of interactions? It everything clear and well communicated? These are all valuable pieces that make the difference between a good and a great customer experience.
2. Understand that people learn in different ways.
Remember in elementary school when teachers taught each skill in a few different ways? Perhaps first they'd read aloud, then show a textbook, and finally explain it using a chalkboard. When it comes to teaching your product, the same methodology comes in handy. We all process information in our own ways. Some learn best from a how-to article or a short video; others learn best through an interactive webinar. For me personally, I learn best when I take them time to go through all of these methods. So when creating resources for your customers, make sure you’re hitting various learning styles and keeping all of your customers in mind.
3. Revamp your knowledge base.
Once you’ve created a library of resources, the next step is to organize it well. Just because you know the best order to consume information, that doesn’t mean your customers will. Make sure customers receive knowledge articles and information in a logical manner that’s not overwhelming. You’ll also want to ensure your knowledge base is searchable so customers can find the answers to their questions right way; this will save your customers time — and save your customer service team an email or phone call.
4. Invest in tools.
The overall idea of onboarding is that it needs to be a repeatable process; not only do you need the right process, but it needs to be repeatable in order to provide consistency for customers and reps alike. Automation is a tremendous way to help with that. Whether it’s an email drip campaign or in-app messaging, automated tools help you reach thousands of customers quickly and easily. Not only can you reach more, you can also track the effectiveness of various campaigns (such as if a customer has opened an email or clicked on a certain call to action). These tools generally have an associated cost, but it’s a solid investment and pays real dividends in terms of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
5. Measure in micros, not macros.
Oftentimes, when onboarding is concerned, we’ll look at the all-important attrition number to determine whether or not our onboarding program is successful. While I agree that attrition is a nice indicator, we also need to measure onboarding milestones at a more granular level. Define your customers’ first value moment. At Salesforce, one of our first value moments is resolving a customer case, so we create milestones to get customers there, too; we even track whether or not they’re reaching micro milestones (such as inviting agents or setting up an email inbox). Measuring in increments will help you help your customers achieve those first a-ha moments.
