This week in my free "Learn Salesforce Flows" training class I will focus on loops. I have completed the first two sessions, and you can find the link to the recordings below.

Our next session is on Tuesday 1/26 at 8:00 PM EST. In this 3rd session, I will live-demo loops. I will explain the concept of collection record variables. I will loop through collections. I will also explain the importance of not using get, create and update elements inside a loop.

Please register for the third session here: https://superpeer.com/utkan/event/learn-salesforce-flows-3

Please watch the recording for the previous sessions before you join the third session if you missed the first two live streams.

Summary of the first session: Intro to most popular flow types

Summary of the second session: In-depth demo of screen flows with input screens, validations, and default picklist values.

Oh, and we don't have an upper limit on capacity. And typically you don't have to turn on the camera or microphone. Questions on chat are answered live.

I announced about two weeks ago that I am starting a free "Learn Salesforce Flows" training class. I have completed the first live stream session with the participation of 53 people. It was a fun session. You can find the summary of the session and the link to the Youtube recording below. The recording became a very nice tour of the most popular flow types in Salesforce.

Our next session is on Tuesday 1/19 at 8:00 PM EST. In this session, we will build a fairly sophisticated screen flow using several screen components including picklists. We will go into enhanced get, create and update functionality, and use record variables in this process. We will also use validations and default picklist values.

Please register for the second session here: https://superpeer.com/utkan/event/learn-salesforce-flows-2

Please watch the recording for the first session before you join the second session if you missed the first live stream.

Summary of the first session: I started with a very simple screen flow, then I continued by building on it. First, I added get and update elements. Then I removed the screen elements and converted the flow to an auto-launched flow. Next, I converted the flow to a record-triggered flow, and I demonstrated the before-save and after-save functionality. Link: https://youtu.be/8J4ahx2-wmg

Please tag your local groups and folks in the comments who would be interested.

Enjoy.

*update* Diving into your group, I see you have a bi-weekly #salesforcesaturday via your own #Journey2salesforce #askmeanything EXCELLENT!

Hi All,

Just introducing myself; Karen here.

Super excited to have finally found this group. I have been searching for days for any local (Las Vegas) Trailblazers group to meetup regularly face to face. I am not finding any Vegas (in person or virtual)  #salesforcesaturday nor #trailheadtuesday groups, so I will create a group sometime in the future.

THIS type of learning group, what you have here, is what I was looking for!

Thank you so much for putting together the Trail Mixes! I see I have already completed some while stumbling along this journey on my own, but am so happy to have found a group to mix n mingle.

I look forward to visiting with many of you.

Hello! After nearly 3 years, Portland-area events to earn Trailhead badges and study are becoming part of local user group planning. Thanks to all for your patience and support!

This means the best place to find out about #TrailheadTuesday or #SalesforceSaturday dates is here in the Trailblazer Community (the same place where all our great Portland events are announced).

Register for the next Trailhead Tuesday at this link! Hosted by @Admin Group, Portland, OR, US

I'm going to focus on Lightning learning with this Trailmix: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/users/00550000006yDdKAAU/trailmixes/blaze-your-trail-to-lightning

P.S. It was announced at the 1/23 all Portland User Group Meeting that these Trailhead study sessions will become part of the user group planning. As always, the Trailblazer Community will have the latest updates as those details are finalized.
