Hi There,

I am wondering if any one is aware of a way to prevent History Showing when using the Global Search function. I have read a future idea to be able to remove the search feature by profile which will be really helpful, i am just wondering if there is any way to prevent the recent items from showing in the interim that anyone is aware of.  In our example users have the ability to search for cases, knowledge etc. But when they select the Search Box it loads 5 records in Recent history - this is what i am wondering if there is a way to remove ?  (Image to highlight where I mean)

Hi,

I had an inquiry form a business user to see if I could add a search box on my Dashboard to search within a displayed Table query. The Table has Accounts and Opportunity data. The goal would be to be able to search by Account or Opportunity name. I have not see this type of capability before in a Tableau CRM dashboard. Does this capability exist out of the box or is there a simple way to build it out?

I have a requirement of creating a customized search box for knowledge search, but it should use the global search mechanism as I don’t want to write all the algorithms to find relevant knowledge articles.

So basically what I am looking for is lightning component to provide a customized look and feel of the global search. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

Hi All - I'm trying to configure Lightning Knowledge in a dedicated sandbox for some users who are piloting Knowledge at my organization. I'm currently being stymied by the following: Articles which are in a Draft publication status do not surface in any search boxes in the org including Global Search and the search box in the Knowledge component on the Case Console. Any thoughts on what might be causing that?

    @John Bowen

    as you've found, drafts are filtered out of article suggestions and search by default. If you click into the Knowledge search field in the case and click Advanced Search, you can change the Publishing Status filter default from Published to Draft. This will allow agents to search for and attach draft articles to cases.

    We are moving toward a direct publishing model based on KCS methodology where we will essentially be eliminating Drafts to avoid these types of challenges.

We have a custom lightning component where a user would choose one of 5 objects. Then there is a search box where the user searches for the records and can add multiple records. while displaying multiple records from search result we are using lightning recordview control because we want to show compact layout on the search. results are retrieved. we can able to save form but getting below warning message.

This page has an error. You might just need to refresh it. [PromiseRejection: [Assert Violation: [object:vm undefined (505)] must be inserted.]]. This seems to be known issue if there is a huge data across the object

Windows 10, version 1903 Outlook sidebar issue.

I recently installed the Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903 and now when I attempt to use my search bar on the Outlook sidebar and place the cursor in the search box, I am not able to type or paste anything in the search box. I have the most recent version of the sidebar installed and can select contacts to attach to email. Are there any fixes in the settings that I cannot find?  Thank you!

Hello CPQ Community,

We have recently noticed if you have too many products in your system and you use the search box in the list view for products, there is an undesirable functionality.  We would expect for that search box to be able to query any product, but it only searches what products have been already loaded into your local cache.

If your product records are low enough this works fine but when you have thousands of product records, you can only search the list view if you have previously scrolled through the list and seen that product which defeats the purpose of the search box.

Has anyone else noticed this?
