Hello Trailblazers !! ,

I am encountering strange issue on my Screen Flow.  In my flow, On Display Screen, I have Choice Lookup, which uses Record Choice Set.  This record choice set will give me all the User object  records which matches criteria  1. isActive== true & 2. ProfileId == 'XXX...' .

So technically on screen, from lookup I should be able to find all user which matches above criteria. However, I am not able to find few users which matches same criteria given above.  I compared both user records (able to find on Lookup & not able to find) as well, both users have same settigns, like PSG, etc..

Note: my flow is running as System Context with Sharing - Enforce Record-level sharing .

I use Developer Console to analysis performance using Execution Overview.  One thing that I find missing is that Flow is not shown.  I can see all the FLOW_.... entries in the log but nothing appears in any of the analysis panels.

Is this a gap, it just doesn't do it and you have to go to the log text?

I see Workflow as one of the options shown but that appears to show only old Workflow, and not Flow.

Am I missing something?

There is a way to watch Flows run live as they happen (not trying to dig through debug logs later, which sucks) using Dev Console as shown above.  I was shown how to do this once by Salesforce support and was blown away!!  Makes troubleshooting a breeze as you can literally just watch each line execute in real time.

I feel like it was something weird, like it *was* actually just under Workflow or something (not Flow or Process Builder in dev console), and he told me all automations show up that way...but for the life of me I can't figure out again how he did it!

Can anyone help answer here, which I believe is really the OPs original question and still not answered here?

Also @Ken Koellner, can you show me how you got to that window above because it looked just like that IIRC?

Flow Enhancement #1 #winter24 #winter24 #winter24#winter24

Salesforce Flow Builder now makes it easier to find and select a record or record collection in Create Records elements in Auto-Layout.

This update includes a new breadcrumb path, intuitive icons, a New Resource option, resource info, user-friendly labels, descriptions, and the ability to find screen components and their outputs faster.

Here are some of the key features of the new resource selection experience:

1. Breadcrumb path: A new breadcrumb path shows you where you are in the resource selection process. This makes it easier to find your way back to the top level of the menu.

Icons: More intuitive icons make it easier to identify resource types at a glance.

2. New Resource option: The New Resource option has been moved to always show in the footer of the menu, making it easier to create a new resource.

3. Resource info: Hovering over a resource now shows you helpful information about it, such as its label, description, and type.

4. Labels and descriptions: Menu items now have user-friendly labels and descriptions, making it easier to understand what they do.

5. Screen components: You can now find screen components and their outputs faster by going to the screen where they appear, instead of searching the list of all screen components.

These new features make it easier to find and select the right resources for your Create Records elements, helping you to build more efficient and effective flows.

SF has been working to make more tasks actionable via a "no code, low code" approach and ChatGPT is the next step.

My concern is that if a User doesn't understand Relational databases and hasn't build an org from scratch  - ChatGPT could give them the info on how to implement a Flow etc without understanding the implications. Equally important, if something goes wrong will they understand how to fix it.

From a business point of view - why employ a Developer when you can use ChatGPT to do the task?

In previous roles I have hired a consultancy to take on some of the workload - however I have been impressed by how quickly ChatGPT can suggest Email templates, check errors on validation rules.

I can see myself assigning tasks to Admins, asking them to do it or use ChatGPT to assist and I can review - saves time, money and upskills staff.

I can see benefits of having ChatGPT ie check a legacy Apex code.

I think it will have an impact of SF jobs and salaries in the future.

We have to constantly adapt, don't just be a coder or Developer - perhaps we need different roles - System Analyst, System Developer .....we need to ensure that businesses see the value that we bring to the business....we are more than our codes, validation rules and Flows.

In Account object, I have a button named 'Verify Account'. On Click of this button, I want to update the related Opportunities -> Opportunity Line Item (products) record.

(i.e.., Account -> Opportunities -> Opportunity Line Item.

I want to update this grand child using Salesforce flows.)

I have tried using record triggered flow and in that I used to call subflow which will do this process but failed. Any ideas will be most welcomed.

Thanks in Advance.
