We are running into a situation where certain prospects captured with Pardot forms are not syncing over to Salesforce because of a data mismatch. The problem is usually because what they enter in the phone number field doesn't match with the format for that field in Salesforce (ex: they include their extension with "ext."). Since Pardot requires the data format for a phone number to be "text" in order for someone to enter "123-456-7890", that leaves that field open to have anything input.

Is it possible to create a Pardot form that, upon submission, creates a Case in Salesforce? #AccountEngagement #Pardot Forms
I have a multi select picklist field on the Pardot form which needs to be filled my user submitting the form. I want the values in this field to populate a text field as comma separated values. I don't want the text field to be filled by the user. How can I achieve this with Pardot forms?

Nov 15, 2023, 12:03 PM Hi Vyom,
if the cookies recognises the prospect the values will be populated in the relevant fields. So think about the source attribute to contain the right value
else maybe you can leverage hidden fields and UTM parameters, https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=000382980&language=en_US&type=1
really depends on what you are trying to do
Hi,
I am stuck at a point were we want that the fields in form should be prefilled even if customer/prospect is interacting with the Pardot form for the first time. We already have the basic details(First Name, Last Name, Email as I have created prospects manually to test) of the customer which we need to be prefilled in the Pardot form.
Checkboxes
"Do Not Prefill" = Unchecked.
"Always display even if previously completed" = Checked
"Maintain the initial value upon subsequent form submissions"= Unchecked.
Can some one suggest me what would be a solution or is there a feature in Pardot that can help me in this?
Sep 13, 2021, 1:07 PM Prefilling only works for people who have a Pardot cookie on their machine. You can prefill information that came from Salesforce or other non-Pardot-form sources, but you still need the customer to identify themselves enough to have a Pardot cookie or Pardot won't know who's info to prefill where.
Overtime, you'll have more of your prospects get connected to cookies via interactions with your Pardot content, but right off the bat it's hard to get these prefills to work ideally since you just don't have the tracking data on your customers yet.

Could someone please explain how this could happen? I am reporting on our forms, and I can't explain this one. :(
I have tried searching the community as well as Google, and I haven't found anything that shows an example where the number of form submissions is higher than the number of form views. This is a Pardot form on a non-Pardot landing page (registration for a webinar)
Total Views: 56
Total Unique Views: 39
Total Submissions: 137 (244.64%)
Total Unique Submissions: 134
Thank you so much!
Apr 21, 2022, 12:34 PM The answer is: if cookies are blocked there will be no view, but you can have a submission. Update to first party cookies and this may help.
Pardot Forms - WCAG Compliance
My organization wants to make all of the Pardot forms on our website WCAG compliant. I'm curious if other members of the Trailblazer Community have embarked upon this project before? If so, I'd love to hear about how you were able to make your forms completely compliant with these standards.
What types of edits did you make to your Form Layout Template code to achieve this (CSS style sheets and JavaScript)? Was there any specific code you added into your layout templates that allowed screen readers to better read information from the form's HTML? What major hurdles did you come across and could give advice to others on? etc.
Apr 20, 2022, 4:06 PM I'd love to see an answer from Pardot/SFDC on this topic. It would be great if all the WCAG/ADA topics were grouped together also.
Hi
i am new to engagement studio and need some help in setting up a nurturing journey. I have attached a screenshot of my set up - i need advice on some aspects. The idea is prospects get sent an email and complete a form and get added to a list. if they don't complete a form they get sent another email and its the same process (this is done 4 times) however i have done two test runs and it seems like anytime one of us fills in the form it doesn't get added to "yes" on the form completion action. this is the main issue at the moment - i think it might have something to do with ip address (we have completed the form multiple times prior)
the other thing i want to know is how to ensure if someone receives an email they get added to the "yes" list and then not receive the rest of the emails - as it stands no matter what route we choose we all get every email.

i hope ive explained this properly, happy for any input which can help!

Jan 28, 2022, 6:59 PM Hello,
If you are still having issues with this a alternative solution could be to apply a tag on Landing Page completion and then use this tag in the Engagement Studio as the filter after a wait.
Thanks, Tom
I sent out an email campaign that included a form on it. It's been filled out a couple times now and I am trying to view the responses from the people who filled it out. I went to the prospects who filled it out and was able to find some of the responses in the audits tabs. Although, I wasn't able to find all the responses even though all the fields were required to fill out. I will list the fields on the form below, the only ones that I could find the response to was the last question.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Address
- Which Product?
Nov 18, 2021, 7:47 AM Hi Kindly go through with the link. https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/content/learn/modules/pardot-lead-generation/use-pardot-forms-and-form-handlers
I hope this will help you. Thanks Piyush
Hello - I need to use a Pardot form handler to translate values from a multi-select field. Is this something that form handlers can handle on their own, or do I need to do something special with my form in order to get those text values into Pardot? Not seeing this anywhere on the Help site. TIA! #Pardot Forms #Form Handlers #Multi-Select Picklist #Multi-Select Checkbox
Nov 11, 2021, 3:20 PM Hi @Denise A, did you find any way to get the multi-select field in Pardot Form Handler?
Hi @Mark Heffernan, so what do you suggest to do when we have a multi-select field on the web and we need to map it with a field in a Form Handler?
Thanks!
