Hello, we currently got a big problem with the DOI process because we implemented it with a custom redirect in a confirmation mail like described in article https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.pardot_email_confirmed_opt_in.htm&type=5.We run into the known cookie problem very often which leads to dangerous situations as prospects become OptedIn with DOI date even so they never asked for it, but where matched through the IP address. They could very easily sue us for this and ask for a lot of money! We need a new process ASAP. Engagement studio doesn't seem to be acceptable as well because of the delay during the process until the prospect gets the confirmation mail. I guess, all of us these days in our digital world are used to immediate reaction when we subscribe for anything and very probably try again and again if the confirmation mail doesn't arrive right after subscription. We would now be very interested in how other companies do it with Pardot, as Pardot is the first marketing tool we've been using that doesn't offer a clear and save DOI process. Thanks for any ideas! If it's still relevant, I'd suggest using Pardot Forms. However, if you already have a form on your website, you can connect it to Pardot (MCAE) using a Form Handler.
