    I'm building a custom 3rd party cookie consent solution and require clarification regarding how your Tracking API works in terms of: how the initial visit is impacted and what the retroactive configuration does, how does the "sendPageView" pdt command affect this if it can get the opt-in parameter and the visitor id. Other areas include handling of refresh and revisit of the same page and how that is counted (if), also, is there any timing /processing associated with reporting of a visit (I don't always see them shortly after). Finally, for tracking multiple Business Units using the Tracking API, any way to reuse the initialized object (create command) in case banner interaction requires subsequent tracking with existing (vs having to use create each time to indicate account id etc).

Capturing UTM parameters in Pardot Form (iframe):

 

I am using the following script to capture the UTM parameters from the url and putting them into the hidden fields of the Pardot form:

(We want to capture the values in the custom fields and not the Google Analytics section in Pardot)

 

The script is working fine, however if the UTM parameters are in small letter, i.e. 'utm_source' instead of 'UTM_Source', it doesn't capture it (not sure but may be because the field values in the Pardot are having this small caps combo).

 

For some reasons we can't give UTM parameters in small-caps combo (they are all small).

 

Is there a way to adjust the above mentioned script to accept UTM parameters in small letters as well?

    Hi @Jonathan Chadima, here is that resource about mapping pardot and salesforce fields.

     

    Here are the steps to sync your Salesforce queues to Pardot: 

     

    Navigate to Account Engagement Settings > User Management on the left >Users > Then on the top right click ‘View Queues’. Here you can add your Salesforce queue, which will make it available on the completion action of the form.

    Hello, I'm looking for a way to create a suppression list based on Prospect create date. As an example, I'm sending out an email on September 24. Then, on September 26 I'm sending a follow up. There will be new Prospects created between the 24th and 26th that I don't want to receive the second email because they didn't receive the first email (because they were created on September 25, as an example).

    For scoring, what would be the drawbacks of setting the default scores to 0 and then implementing unique scores as completions actions for content?

    - I am aware that the score will appear as 0 in the activity section.

    - What are the drawbacks or items to be concerned about with setting the default scores to 0 and using completion actions to control the score?

    - Use-case: We will be having different scores depending on the content for the utilized feature and there will be times we won’t want scoring for certain content, so having this set to 0 allows us to decide what scores to add or not add when setting up the content. #AskAPardotExpert
