Friends,
Happy to share home grown solution to overcome field analysis problem. I was asked to remove unused fields in an Org with 40+ custom objects. At the onset, this looks like manual task of painfully trying to delete field and see whether SFDC throws an error or not.
Thought of creating application where user can search for field use across -
Validation Rule
Formula
Apex Trigger
Apex Class
VisualForce Pages
If the field is found to be use then a tabular format result shows the usage link.

Just to let everyone know, my presentations are very demo-heavy and contain very little text or information in the slides, so I don't think anyone will get much out of this. That being said, I will post by Monday with the information on each of the flows from the presentation.
