#Mobile App0 discussing

I have created a Mobile Home lightning page, and want to assign it only to the mobile version of an app. We need end-users to use this custom sales app instead of the Mobile Only App. The Mobile Home is currently appearing in the desktop custom sales App and I cannot find a way to prevent this. Any ideas?

Hi Amy, you can set visibility of Lightning components to show on mobile vs. desktop or both, and you can set the visibility to be mobile-only at the Lightning app level, but the list of pages/tabs within a Lightning app will be the same for mobile and desktop.

I created a Salesforce community (Experience Cloud site) and then by using the Salesforce Mobile Publisher I converted my community into an app for iOS and Android.

The app works fine on Android but for iOS the app got rejected by the App Store because when the reviewers tested it, the first screen showed an error page with the message "URL No Longer Exists". The community is already published by clicking in the "Publish" button from the community builder.

  • Device type: iPad and iPhone
  • OS version: iOS 14.7

URL No Longer Exists in iOS App - Experience Cloud Site

Another users have experienced this issue only for the iOS app and not the Android app (i. e. Madhu Dk in this question). Also the setting "Allow Access to Standard Salesforce Pages" is enabled as this documentation article suggested.

Any advice about how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

#MotivationMonday: Adding Barcode Support to a Salesforce Mobile Application

Freelance DZone writer created a Salesforce #Mobile App to count the calories of his snacks. I love this quote from the article:

“Focus your time on delivering features/functionality which extends the value of your intellectual property. Leverage frameworks, products, and services for everything else.”

Hi Guys,

Is there a video I can share with the Team on using the app? Just a short intro video, nothing too techy more as an overview?

Thanks!

In desktop view as we know the einstein bot button on the page is in the bottom right corner of the screen but in mobile view the einstein bot button after minimize remains in the middle of the page how to move it to the same corner as in desktop after minimize?

I can't see the dashboard I created in the Analytics mobile app but I can see the datasets.  I can see all the dashboards and datasets in the  we browser.  Why?

Mobile publisher will package an experience cloud site regardless of how it was developed, but experience cloud supports the Lightning framework (Aura and LWC/LWR) as a front-end framework. VueJS is not supported.

I would like to add a checkbox field on our Accounts object and Contacts object in the Salesforce Mobile App called "Finish Setup Later", where our salesmen who are in the field can mark this and a task will be created to remind them to finish adding details to the account and/or contact. This way they can get the account and/or contact in Salesforce and can start logging things such as Literature Requests or Customer Interactions to the account and/or contact while they are out and will be reminded to get all their details in Salesforce when they return to the office. (We are still working on adoption.)

My issue is, I don't want this field to show up on the desktop version.....
