#Click Tracking0 discussing

Hi all,

I can't find the information anywhere, but do you know if we can track clicks on links inside a prompt (In App Guidance) body?

I've seen that we can track clicks on CTA, if it has been dismissed, closed or snoozed, but what about links in the text area (for example if I click on 'link' in the image below)?

Track clicks In App Guidance prompt text area

Thanks

Hello All,

Would anyone know why a Salesforce URL has appeared in my email? I was looking up the tracking stats (specifically in View Click Report") in Pardot for an email that was sent and saw a Salesforce URL in there. We didn't specifically add any Salesforce links, so I'm thinking something is broken? Perhaps SF was trying to rewrite a link?

Go into the html/source code of your email template (a tab in between the builder and text version options) and do a CTRL+F to search for salesforce.com. This may help you track it down so you can see where it is/double out how it got there.

Writing to a record when the flow is stopped

If a user stops the flow by, say, closing the browser, is there a way to then create a record? Essentially I want to track users through my flow and see where they abandon, or see where they have success. I would love to be able to collected the stages they go through and write those to a record in the end without having to update the record at each step of the way. I am worried about the writes required, the time it would take etc.

Is there a way to do this, or am I worrying about something that probably isn't an issue anyway?

the point is there should not be any screen element in between, two create elements (parent and child) are ok and most likely they will not be able to stop in between. But create parent, have a screen for more info for child, that's the point where they can stop

Hello dear friends, is it possible to measure all reactions (like, comment or click on a link) from a Pardot LinkedIn post also in Pardot and save them at the contact? Thanks a lot and stay healthy! Jan

I have a question:

Links in a button with AMPscript can be trackable in an email?

Maybe is kind of obvious but, when send an email with a button filled with a link with ampscript i cannot see the number of clicks on it.

Hi,

I don't want to use custom redirect because there are too many links to track. So I have added <a href="link" class="pardotTrackClick"> but the link is not being tracked on the a page where Pardot tracking script is inserted.

How do I make it work? It doesn't seem to be cookie problem, since all other data are coming into Pardot.

Is there a way to track clicks on an email sent via Salesforce Engage?

Hey Cem - yeah you should be able to. My team love this as it helps them to see how their campaigns have been going. It should be under "Engage Reports" in Salesforce.
