Paypal and Classy?

Hi, everyone! PayPal is set up as a payment option in #Classy App with #NPSP, and I confirmed I can see this payment method on a donation page.  

 

However, when someone pays via Paypal, that data is not flowing into Salesforce similar to Stripe transactions. Are there additional settings or gotchas to be aware of? We also have GoFundMePay. Thank you!

    I have found Classy’s documentation and customer support to be amazing, so I would put in a ticket request to them. They can definitely point you in the right direction.

Classy integration with NPSP + Salesforce Classic?

Hi, everyone! Can Classy be implemented for Salesforce orgs still using @Nonprofit Success Pack + Salesforce Classic, or is the org required to be on Lightning?

 

Most importantly, will the Classy Control Panel V2 app where you declaratively set up many of the integration settings be accessible in Salesforce Classic? #Classy Salesforce Integration #Classy App #Classy Applications

    You should contact Classy directly as well as through their Trailblazer group, you might get a faster response.

Will the next version of Classy for Salesforce support Nonprofit Cloud?

...or will the Classy for Salesforce managed package continue to be designed for NPSP, and a new product be made available for Nonprofit Cloud customers? Is there a migration path for Nonprofit Cloud customers who have implemented the pre-existing Classy for Salesforce? #Classy Salesforce Integration #Classy App #Nonprofit Cloud

    Hi @Michelle Jowitt -- Thank you for the tag!  Classy is currently building a new connector to integrate directly with Nonprofit Cloud, specifically Fundraising.  Our existing managed packages with NPSP will continue to be supported as well.  As of now, we're aiming to have a Nonprofit Cloud integration ready by early April for a closed beta with plans of GA being in May.

     

    From what I understand, a migration path is something that is still in discovery from the Salesforce side but as we get closer to our new integration being ready we will have guidance on how to migrate Classy data into NPC. I hope this helps!

Should refund Payment records be visible?

We just started using Classy for donations and events. I am refunding our test transactions in Classy, and the corresponding SF donation record stage is changed to "Refunded" automatically, but the payment is still there. When I try to refund the payment, I get the error saying that it's already been refunded or is the refund record itself. There is only one payment record attached to the donation -- the positive payment. Our finance team uses payments to reconcile, and there doesn't appear to be a negative payment record as expected.

 

What am I missing?

How do you like using Classy overall, are you happy with the platform?
we are currently using Click & Pledge for our donation and event ticketing sites. But have been exploring Classy. Just wondered if you like using it and if the integration with Salesforce is smooth or clunky for you?
