As  #AI agents become the new face of customer interaction, testing them isn’t just about checking workflows or scripts — it’s about validating cognition.

To build trust in AI-driven systems like  #Salesforce  Agentforce, testers must balance traditional QA rigor with AI-specific validation — ensuring the agent not only works but thinks accurately, adapts intelligently, and responds ethically.

Because a reliable  #Agentforce  is built not only on great models, but on great testing.

Hi all.  I'm currently investigating flow tests for our org.  I am able to set up my test fine in my development sandbox, but once deploying to a staging org, I get invalid references since it appears to be hard-coding the lookup ids.

Example: I have a flow that initiates from a Product Request Line Item that is associated with a specific workorder.  The flow looks at data on the workorder for routing during a few decisions, so I'm populating a workorder in the workorder field on the Product Request Line Item test data.  The metadata shows the workorder Id as hardcoded into it, and in the target org when running the test, I get an invalid reference error, as that workorder does not exist in that org.

Has anyone come up with a workaround for this issue?

Flow Test feature does not do full data siloing like Apex Test Classes. Therefore, IDs from sandbox to another environment will change. You'll have to redo the  lookup ids for each environment by editing the test again since Flow Test uses environment data for running the tests.

Hi,

Looking for some help related to creating Flow Test Run on Account Record Triggered Flow.

I am following this article as reference: Why Admins Should Create Flow Tests - Salesforce Admins

Looks like managed package fields and Person Account fields didn't like Flow Test Run every time I am running on Account.

Did anyone face the similar challenges before? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

An error occurred while saving the triggering record: Account: bad field names on insert/update call: Active__pc, FinServ__CreatedFromLead__pc, FinServ__EmailVerified__pc, FinServ__FaxVerified__pc, FinServ__HomePhoneVerified__pc, FinServ__MarketingOptOut__pc, FinServ__MobileVerified__pc, FinServ__PrimaryAddressIsBilling__pc, FinServ__PrimaryAddressIsMailing__pc, FinServ__PrimaryAddressIsOther__pc, FinServ__PrimaryAddressIsShipping__pc, LLC_BI__Form_W7_Foreign_DL_Indicator__pc, LLC_BI__Is_Non_Customer__pc, LLC_BI__Is_Third_Party__pc, LLC_BI__Patriot_Act_Alert__pc, LLC_BI__Primary_Contact__pc, LLC_BI__W7_Exception_1a_Partner_EIN_Ind__pc, Primary_Contact__pc

    Hi @Deepak S

Are you assigning a Person Account record type in the Flow? I've seen this error when attempting to set __pc field values without specifying a Person Account record type.
