Trailblazer Community Solutions

Given the multiple current solutions used for Salesforce community management, namely the Trailblazer Community and Trailblazer Community Groups (Bevy), this group seeks to analyse and discuss the underlying issues as well as proposed solutions, e.g. how to maintain a single source of truth concerning user group membership or how to best explain the multiple accounts needed to nagivate the Salesforce ecosystem. This group tries to bring together subject-matter experts and assemble relevant resources for exploring both the problem and solution spaces.

I am working on  "Lay the Groundwork for an Approval Process" module, and steps mentioned as below:

Create a Folder and Email Templates

Start by creating a couple of email templates and a folder to house them.

  1. From Setup, enter Classic Email Templates in the Quick Find box, then select Classic Email Templates.
  2. Click Create New Folder.

however on the set up I am not finding any option when following the same steps.

Hi, I completed my first salesforce certification after 24th july, As per one article published in trailhead,I  should get free voucher, I should get one. Anybody knows abt it when will I get it?

    Q: When will I receive my free certification voucher?

    A: Upon validating that you are eligible to receive a free certification voucher, you will get an email from certification@salesforce.com with your free voucher within a month of passing your first certification exam. For example, if you earned your first certification in August, you will receive your free voucher in September.

Is there a way to validate if your Flow Upload File Component has a file attached?

    You can also use the formula in the decision element to check the file size, if the size is greater than 0, then it means that file has been attached, otherwise, it means that no file has been attached.

Two weeks ago, similar thing happened.  Happened AGAIN today and I don't know why, but I was paying more attention. 

I was working on a superbadge, so I had my trailblazer account open and my playground.  When I tried to open another module to look at, I got an "Update profile" screen.  It asked for an email verification code but didn't send it.  I clicked on X and logged out, which logged me out of everything.  When I tried to log back in, it wanted me to "update profile" screen, only it's not really an update screen, as it changed my summary, url, company name, and unconnected my certifications.  My badges and groups are still there (thank God, as I have over 150).  A true update would ask if this was ok.  This happened March 14 or so also.  I have not gotten an answer on why this is happening, if it's a SF bug or my fault.  It's an easy fix but shouldn't be happening.  Nothing from Salesforce or the community has helped.  Has this happened to anyone?

Shouldn't be from merging with work email, as I don't have a work email right now.  I did add a recovery email.

    @Tracy Dye Did you tried to reach Salesforce through their twitter handle.They are pretty fast in replying and will help sought out the issue too.

Is there a way to check what is set as the recovery account for trailblazer.me account?  I don't know if I ever set one but I want to make sure it's linked to my personal email and not company account.  I don't see any way to set / update a recovery account.

Hello Everyone,

did anyone face below issue in chatter in customer community mobile app view

a) Not able to comment or reply on the post in chatter

b) Feed and Post option showing differently in mobile view.

 

Please help me on this one.

Hello all! Is there any way to enable/display chatter (private group) in the Salesforce community? Also is there any OOB configuration to bring knowledge record type as titles in the Community home page? @Trailblazer Community Solutions @* Lightning Now! *

    @Sudipta Deb- I would keep distinct questions separate in the future so we can all tell which responses are for what. Having said that, regarding Knowledge, there's a free appexchange component for creating a Knowledge page from Advanced Communities (not EXACTLY what you were asking but useful for exposing Knowledge). Note: there are 2 versions - 1 for Classic Knowledge and one for Lightning Knowledge.
