Hello Trailblazers!

We've got important news about the Salesforce Certification program.

We want to share the following key updates to our roadmap:

  • 24 certifications will be retired. These include 15 Accredited Professional certifications and 9 Salesforce Certifications (across various roles & products).
  • 16 certifications will be renamed. This is happening to align with current Salesforce products and new branding, like the incorporation of Agentforce.

Retiring these exams helps us to:

  • Make your certifications more valuable: We align our certifications with the skills and expertise that hiring managers seek in the workplace.
  • Stay current with the product landscape: As Salesforce technologies evolve, our certifications are updated to reflect the skills professionals use daily.
  • Grow your skills where it matters most: We build certifications around the latest job roles, products, and features to give you the most relevant, in-demand certifications available today.

Key Dates

Mark your calendars (all dates are set to 12:00 a.m. UTC):

  • Friday, July 24, 2026: This is the last day to register for any retiring exams. And, this is the day all renamed certifications will officially go live.
  • Tuesday, August 31, 2026: This is the final day you can take any retiring exams.
  • February 1, 2027: The official retirement date for all impacted certifications.

What This Means For You

  • If you hold a retiring certification: It remains valid through the official retirement date of February 1, 2027, and you won't have any maintenance requirements in the meantime. These certifications will still be visible on your Trailblazer profile as part of your professional history.
  • If you are planning to pursue a retiring certification: You must register by July 24, 2026, and complete the exam by August 31, 2026.
  • If you hold a renamed certification: No action is required. The certification name on your Trailblazer profile will change on July 24, 2026. For information on how to request a new certificate with the updated name, visit Receive Your Salesforce Certificate and Logo After Earning a Certification

I am trying to figure out this limit - Lightning Order Management Order Summary Entitlements.     Is it the number of orders I have in the system or the number or orders I process? I don't find any info in documents and even looked here. https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?language=en_US&id=commerce.om_licenses.htm&type=5

Low Sales Adoption - Clunky UX means reps avoid using CPQ altogether, defeating the entire purpose    Slow Time-to-Market - 8-16 weeks just to launch new products or update pricing? That's a competitive killer.    Migration & Entitlement Nightmares - Moving customers from old to new products while managing credits, rebates, and eligibility rules becomes impossibly complex    Approval Bottlenecks - Discount and deal desk slowdowns that kill sales momentum right when you need it most    System Disconnects - CPQ operating in isolation from Contracts, Billing, and ERP creates data chaos and manual workarounds.    These aren't just minor inconveniences - they're business-critical issues that directly impact revenue and sales team productivity.     Which of these resonates most with your experience? Have you found any effective solutions or workarounds?      I'm curious to hear what the community has discovered - sometimes the best insights come from what you've learned in the trenches.       P.S. - If you're dealing with these challenges, we're doing a live demo next week showing how AI is starting to address these specific pain points. Comment "Interested" and I will share the webinar link.

@Rohit Kamble From what I’ve seen, the biggest pain points tend to be low sales adoption and slow time-to-market. If reps feel CPQ is heavy or slow, they’ll avoid it, and that defeats the whole purpose. Pricing or product changes taking weeks is also a real blocker in fast-moving sales teams.

Teams that do better usually simplify the product model as much as possible, invest in good UX training for reps, and make sure CPQ isn’t operating in isolation from contracts, billing, or ERP. When those pieces are aligned early, a lot of downstream issues become much more manageable.

We recently updated the Salesforce Payments SDK within Commerce Cloud, which requires you to republish your WebStore by January 31, 2026.

We recently updated the Salesforce Payments SDK within Commerce Cloud, which requires you to republish your WebStore by January 31, 2026. Republishing your WebStore automatically updates the necessary links. Once completed, no further action is required.

To ensure uninterrupted processing, republish your WebStore by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Commerce App.
    • In most Salesforce editions, use the App Launcher to find and select the Commerce app.
    • In Starter Edition, use the left side navigation bar and select the Commerce app.
  2. In the Commerce app’s navigation sidebar, use the Store dropdown to select the specific WebStore that you want to republish.
  3. Select the Website Design option from the sidebar to open the store’s design workspace.
  4. In the Website Design workspace, find and click the Publish button.
  5. Repeat this process for every WebStore that is using Salesforce Payments.

Please note: Republishing your WebStore includes all changes made since the last publish. We recommend testing these updates in your staging environment first.

If you’ve used the Salesforce Payments SDK to build custom components, update your custom components to load the SDK from its new location. Please file a support ticket to request additional information.
