True to the Core

I was not able to ask this question last night at the True to Core session. 

When will we be able to use Lightning App Builder for all declarative record page customizations?  We continue to be forced to use the classic page layouts for numerous reasons.   

I am open to meeting with product management to elaborate. 

Hi, is there a limit to the number of records soft deleted in the Recycle Bin per User?

https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.246.0.salesforce_app_limits_cheatsheet.meta/salesforce_app_limits_cheatsheet/salesforce_app_limits_platform_apicalls.htm suggests that yes, 5k per user license. But it's not mentioned anywhere else...

Established limitations:

1. Org-storage limit: 25× your org's data storage allocation in MB
2. Time Limit: up to 15 calendar days (can be extended by support to 30) unless an admin purged / hard deleted the records

The link suggests a third, per User limit. True or not?

Moreover, when an either limit is reached, "Salesforce automatically removes the oldest records, as long as they’ve been in the recycle bin for at least two hours." Can I infer that soft-deleted records don't run the risk of causing other records be purged from the Bin for 2 hours? Or does it merely suggest that the automated purging runs on a 2-hour schedule?

Another release and no enhancements to Lightning App Builder! 😒 At least none I could find in the Release Notes.  Are we going to be stuck using Page Layouts forever? @True to the Core @Jake Faris @Wendell Carvalho @Nate Hossner

I think it is time to update this idea and put it on the budget !!

We have used the Optimizer to get a quick overview of the org and I can not understand why this has to stop with no other nativ solution in place

Of Course I can find most of this info by clicking around but normally SFDC try to help Admin use less click this i the uppersit.

Look like sometime for "True to the Core" as this missing standard feature was reported in 2008 and have no proper update for 16 years 

The most recent update in Roadmap Preview is September 16, 2024.  It also appears that many of the items in Roadmap Exchange

 are outdated.  When these features were first released, they were great.  But it is very frustrating and disappointing if product management is not going to keep them up to date.

Came across this @IdeaExchange idea

that last had a Product Manager update from nine years ago saying: "Update: It is on our roadmap and we are hoping to work on it in the next 2-3 releases. Thanks for the patience everyone!" 

It's disappointing there wasn't an update on the idea why this was removed from the roadmap.
