We have used the Optimizer to get a quick overview of the org and I can not understand why this has to stop with no other nativ solution in place
Of Course I can find most of this info by clicking around but normally SFDC try to help Admin use less click this i the uppersit.

@Org Check by Salesforce LabsI recently added a tab "Salesforce Org" in Org Check to get a full scan of your org in one go. Additionally you can export the findings in an Excel file.
