     Yes, this is actually standard Salesforce behavior, not a bug. When converting a Lead into an existing Opportunity, the Lead's currency does override the Opportunity's currency by default regardless of field mapping settings, since currency isn't handled through the normal Map Lead Fields mechanism. The common workaround is using a before update trigger or flow on Opportunity to preserve the original currency when conversion happens, since declarative field mapping alone won't stop this override.

Hi All,

I have a Salesforce org with Multi currency feature enabled. I have facing an issue on Lead conversion process as during Lead conversion in one scenario (Existing Opportunity choose) Lead currency is mapped into Opportunity Currency. So it's literally override the existing Opportunity currency (which selected during lead conversion process) and it's cause to lot of issues.

So May I know, Is this standard behavior in Salesforce, As When a Lead converted into existing Opportunity, Lead's Currency is updated into Mapped Existing Opportunity Currency by default from Salesforce end?

Example :

Lead: X

Lead Currency: USD

Existing Opportunity: OPP-0000001

Opportunity Currency: INR

Amount: 2,00,000

After Lead converted by choosing the existing Opportunity as "OPP-0000001":

Existing Opportunity: OPP-0000001

Opportunity Currency: USD

Amount: 2,00,000

Note: I have confirmed, Currently no mapping in "Map Lead Fields" settings in Lead object and no code level (Apex logic) mapping for this in our org.

Any helps appreciated!!

    @Mohanraj S

    This is a standard behavior.. unless.. the existing Opportunity already has a product linked to it and Opportunity currency is different.

    Otherwise.. when you convert a Lead to an existing Opportunity (with no product associated).. then Lead Currency will override Opportunity currency. hence, help check your Opportunity situation.

     Three days can definitely be a marathon, but the impact can last much longer! 🚀 Administrator bootcamps are a great way to build strong Salesforce fundamentals through focused, hands-on learning. Excited to see the transformations this session brings!

I have a few Salesforce reports that are no longer being used and have never been run. I tried to bulk delete them using Sales Inspector. Some of the reports were deleted successfully, but a few failed with the following error:

DELETE_FAILED: cannot delete a report referenced by one or more dashboard components.

What is the recommended way to resolve this issue and delete these unused reports?

Also, is there a way to identify all dashboard components that reference a particular report before attempting to delete it?

    Build this custom report type is the easiest way.

    Find Old Or Inactive Reports And Dashboards To Delete | Salesforce Help

    Then add a filter on report name and you can easily find which dashboard(s) are referencing the report you want to delete.

    If you are still getting the error, then the report is likely stored in a private folder, so follow this guide:

    Locate Reports and Dashboards Stored within Personal or Private Folders in Salesforce | Salesforce Help

Hey #AwesomeAdmins - Setup with Agentforce is GA!

On April 15 at True to the Core,

@Zachary Banks

asked a simple but important question about Setup with Agentforce.

Yesterday, May 26, just 41 days later, we announced General Availability and provided an answer to his question - we will not consume Agentforce Credits. 🚀

That timeline matters because it reflects something I’m incredibly proud of: we’re listening.

Huge thank you to everyone who shared feedback, asked hard questions, and helped shape the product along the way. The community input genuinely influenced the direction of what we built.
