Welcome to those old and new to #TipsTuesday! For those new to it, it is a post that goes up each Tuesday (community or non-community related) from your fellow members.
This week's tip comes from @Cheryl Feldman:
"Share. Share what you learned, share your challenge, share your success, and share your failures. The things you learn or are wondering about are sure to help others. Inspire someone else to share. Support others who are sharing."
Great tip, Cheryl. I know this is one that I use both personally and professionally!

"Admin Commandment #1: Give your fields a description and help text."
Short and simple tip, Jennifer! I'm sure this memorable advice will help others.

Mar 20, 2017, 4:33 PM Great tip! One of the basic knowledge building blocks for all Salesforce Admins. Cannot stress enough how important this is.
Mar 16, 2017, 12:49 AM Only learned how valuable this would've been on my last day at the job...I should send an apology letter the the new Admin they hired!
@Alex Pisani not sure if you are doing #TipsTuesday but here's a great one from a fellow user group member @Bob Simon
I've recently come across a few simple but useful Chrome extensions that have improved my Salesforce productivity. I thought I'd share them and see if anyone has other extensions I might like.
1) Rescue Time - tracks which websites I'm on and how much time I'm spending on them. Anyone else find themselves getting distracted reading the news once in awhile? This will help keep you honest.
2) Salesforce.com Id Clipper - helps get Salesforce record IDs from records and links to the clipboard. I just got this one.
3) Table Capture - copies HTML tables to the clipboard or a Google Doc. I've found this useful for clipping data from a view and manipulating it in a spreadsheet. It can be easier than creating a report and exporting the data. There's a similar Firefox add-on called TableTools2.
Thanks!

Today's tip comes from @Doug Yeager via @Randi Thompson:
"Under editable events, create one (I call it TimeZero) with an event type of Alarm: Absolute time, base time of {!$Flow.CurrentDateTime}, with an offset of -1 (negative 1). That way it gets entered into the queue immediately.
I also needed to delete the default variable assignment (which is empty but it won't save either). The secret sauce is the negative offset."

Thank you Doug and Randi! Great workaround for those in need.
